Compassionate Rugby is led by University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire's Department of Spiritual Care, with participation from other public sector, voluntary and business organisations... Compassionate Rugby is being started by University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire at the invitation of a group of organisations that are part of the town - including Rugby Borough Council, community healthcare services and the voluntary sector. That's just the beginning, though. Compassionate Rugby is for everybody - individual people, no matter what age or where you are; businesses of all kinds; voluntary organisations; community groups; providers of education, health care, social care…... Compassionate Rugby is in part funded by a grant from NHS Charities Together in partnership with University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, working in conjunction with UHCW Charity.
