Alabama Concrete Pavement

Job Titles:
  • Contractor
This license covers foundations, structural concrete erection, reinforcing steel, pre-cast and pre-stressed concrete installation, and other concrete common to the construction industry. The Concrete Pavement license is a specialty under the Heavy Construction category. This license covers all aspects of concrete paving including, but not limited to, excavation, compaction and grading, concrete, concrete pavement, reinforcement, creating chambers for municipal water, sewer and gas systems, and traffic control.

Alabama Conveying

Job Titles:
  • Contractor
The Conveying license is a specialty under the Special Construction category. This license covers all aspects of work common to conveying.

Alabama Hard

Job Titles:
  • Tile and Stone Contractor
The Hard Tile and Stone license is a specialty under the Finishes category. This license includes cutting, drilling and shaping of exterior and indoor tile, stone and marble including showers and tile and marble restoration.

Alabama Insulation

Arizona Plumbing

Arizona Swimming Pool

Job Titles:
  • Contractor a - 9 and B - 5
B-5 General Swimming Pool Contractor Scope " Construction and repair of swimming pools and spas. Installation of code required pool barriers around the swimming pool or spa and installation of utilities from the point of service to the pool equipment. Construction of other structures or appurtenances is excluded. This scope includes all B-5R sub-classifications. The trade test is considered equivalent for these classifications and upon passing the CBME and trade exam, either license classification may be applied for without further testing.

Georgia Conditioned Air

Job Titles:

The 2 levels of Conditioned Air Contractor in Georgia are: Class I conditioned air contractor licenses are restricted to conditioned air contracting involving conditioned air systems or equipment not exceeding 175,000 BTU of heating and 60,000 BTU of cooling. Class II licenses are unrestricted. For classifying systems, each complete system in a single installation is to be considered an individual job.

Georgia General

Job Titles:

A General Contractor is unlimited as to the type of work they may do. It also does not limit them as to what type of contracts they are eligible to bid on. It provides for private, commercial, institutional, industrial, public, and other buildings and structures. This does NOT include HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Low Voltage, or Utility Contracting. There are no limitations on project size.

Georgia Journeyman Plumber

This license allows for the installation, maintenance, alteration, and repair of plumbing fixtures and systems under the direction of a Master Plumber.

Georgia Master Plumber

A Master Plumber is a person who performs or contracts to perform plumbing services. Class 1 is restricted to plumbing work involving single-family dwellings, one-level dwellings designed for no more than 2 families and commercial structures not exceeding 10,000 sq. feet. Class 2 license has no restrictions as to the type of plumbing work allowed.

Georgia Utility

Utility manager means any individual who is employed by a utility contractor to have oversight and charge of the construction, erection, alteration, or repair of utility systems.

Kansas General

The Kansas General Construction license tests a candidate's knowledge of the construction, repair, alteration, remodeling, addition to, subtraction from, improvement, and demolition of any building or structure including related improvements to real estate excluding Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and LP Gas work related thereto. br />/

Kansas Master Plumber

The Kansas Master Plumber Exam tests a candidate's knowledge of the installation, repair, maintenance, and extension of any plumbing system including drains, waste, sanitary vents, water supply, fixtures and indirect wastes. br />

Ohio Heating

HVAC Contractors are those who are qualified to install, maintain, repair, fabricate, alter or extend central air conditioning, heating and ventilating, including ductwork within a complete system and all appurtenances, apparatus, piping vessels, ducts and insulation used in connection therewith. Individuals wishing to become HVAC Contractors must be qualified to sit for the exam by being at least 18 years of age and a US citizen, having 5 years documentable experience in the classification desired or have been an engineer with 3 years of business experience in the construction industry, not have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or of any felony and Pass the applicable examinations.

Ohio Hydronics

Hydronics Contractors must have the knowledge and skill to construct, install, alter, repair, maintain or service any steam and hot-water heating or chilled-water refrigeration system. Individuals wishing to become Hydronics Contractors must be qualified to sit for the exam by being at least 18 years of age and a US citizen, having 5 years documentable experience in the classification desired or have been an engineer with 3 years of business experience in the construction industry, not have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or of any felony and Pass the applicable examinations.

Ohio Plumbing

A Plumbing Contractor works with the practice, materials and fixtures utilized in the installation, maintenance, extension and alteration of all piping, fixtures, plumbing appliances and plumbing appurtenances, within or adjacent to any structure, in connection with sanitary drainage or storm drainage facilities; venting systems; and public or private water supply systems. Individuals wishing to become Plumbing Contractors must be qualified to sit for the exam by being at least 18 years of age and a US citizen, having 5 years documentable experience in the classification desired or have been an engineer with 3 years of business experience in the construction industry, not have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or of any felony and Pass the applicable examinations.

Ohio Refrigeration

A Refrigeration Contractor must have the knowledge to install, maintain, repair or alter any system of refrigeration unlimited to tons or horsepower provided, however, that such refrigeration is intended to be used for the purpose of food and product preservation and is not to be used for comfort systems. Individuals wishing to become Refrigeration Contractors must be qualified to sit for the exam by being at least 18 years of age and a US citizen, having 5 years documentable experience in the classification desired or have been an engineer with 3 years of business experience in the construction industry, not have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or of any felony and Pass the applicable examinations.

Tennessee Fire

Job Titles:
  • Sprinkler and Fire Protection Contractor
This license allows the installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems and fire protection equipment.

Tennessee High

Job Titles:
  • Voltage Electrical Contractor ( CE - a, H )
This license allows high voltage (over 600 volts) electrical work including but not limited to transmission lines and substations.

Tennessee HVAC

Job Titles:
  • Refrigeration Contractor ( CMC - C )
This license allows the holder to install and perform maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, gas piping, and geothermal HVAC equipment. The CMC-C license is required for candidates who need to pull permits for projects limited to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

Tennessee Licensed Masonry

Job Titles:
  • Contractor ( LMC )
A Masonry subcontractor must be licensed with an "LMC" classification to bid or to be listed on the outside of bid envelope as a Licensed Masonry Contractor (LMC) when the masonry portion is $100,000 or more (including materials and labor).

Utah General Plumbing

Job Titles:
  • Contractor ( S - 210 )
A Journeyman plumber is someone with the qualifications, training, experience, and technical knowledge to engage in the performance of any mechanical work pertaining to the installation, alteration, change, repair, removal, maintenance, or use in building or within three feet beyond the outside walls of building of pipes, fixtures and fittings for the delivery of the water supply, discharge of liquid and water carried waste or the building drainage system within the walls of the building. It includes that work pertaining to the water supply, distribution pipes, fixtures, and fixture traps, the soil waste and vent pipes, and the building drain and roof drains together with their devices, appurtenances, and connection where installed within the outside walls of the building.

Utah HVAC

Job Titles:

The HVAC license allows the fabrication and installation of complete warm air heating and air conditioning systems, and complete ventilating systems.
