CYCLING - Key Persons
Adam founded Fusion Media in 2008 from a passion for cycling and the media. Over the last 14 years, he has successfully grown the company to lead the way in communicating cycling and active lifestyles to the mainstream. Adam was a former national level racing cyclist and has also worked as a freelance journalist, contributing to cycling and national publications, including BBC News during London 2012. In 2020, Adam was appointed by Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street, as the region's first Cycling & Walking Commissioner. As commissioner he will work with Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), local council partners and the Department for Transport to steer the region's cycling and walking policies and plans. He also co-hosts the Streets Ahead podcast on active travel and liveable streets.
ANDY BADDELEY OLY is an Olympic 1500 metre finalist. He has represented Great Britain at two Olympic Games (in Beijing and London), two Commonwealth Games, multiple World and European Championships and is currently the parkrun World Record Holder. Andy is our Head of Operations. He leads the agency's operational performance, as well as our growth in running and endurance sports. In addition to his prolific running background, he has a strong skillset in sports marketing. He's achieved a successful career in professional sport, while gaining a double first and a Master of Engineering from Cambridge University.
Aurélie is Company Secretary, managing all our financial, legal, HR and administration functions. She has an International Business Management Degree and 17 years experience working in France and the UK in the fields of efficiency, business process reengineering and events management. Aurélie set up a ran TheTriTouch (a Sports Therapy team for endurance sports and events) for 7 years until 2014. She was part of the London 2012 Athletes Medical Team and has visited 17 countries, working with British Triathlon to treat professional and age groupers in the ITU World Triathlon Series. Aurélie was an avid runner, cyclist and swimmer until life as a mum of twin boys took its hold. She is still a keen horse rider and loves taking part in all sports, usually with two very energetic little boys in tow. Aurélie is very passionate about getting more people active, especially through active travel. She set up Warwickshire's first school cycle bus and each week, along with Adam, helps up to 20 children cycle safely to school.
Ben leads the day-to-day PR program for a range of clients across the UK and Europe. Having grown up racing on both the velodrome and the road, he employs a sound knowledge of endurance sport with strong media-relation skills to help clients grow their reputation. Prior to joining Fusion Ben worked within financial communications, helping some of the world's largest asset managers to communicate effectively with investors, employees, policy-makers, regulators and the wider public.
Ben is our creative lead. With 20 years design experience of working with global brands such as BBC, Apple, Samsung, Asda and KPMG, both above and below the line, he offers Fusion a wealth of creative experience across a range of print, digital and social applications.

Darren has worked with Fusion as our graphic designer since 2010 and combines his passion for design, creativity and endurance sport. A keen cyclist, you'll find Darren running or riding whenever he can.
Having worked in the media industry for over ten years, Dawn has acquired great press contacts across national and lifestyle media. Her background spans consumer tech, fitness and fashion - Dawn also has solid relationships with UK influencers and bloggers.
Guy works with the agency with a focus on further developing our European offering as well as lending us some of his wider business experience as we continue to grow. He brings a wealth of international commercial experience. He was CEO for DHL's Supply Chain business in Northern Europe, a business generating in excess of £1 billion turnover per annum, working extensively in Germany, Benelux, Scandinavia and The Baltics, amongst others. Guy also has a detailed knowledge of the cycling industry in its widest context. Opting out of mainstream business life in 2013 to pursue a keen interest in cycling, he joined SweetSpot to establish The OVO Energy Women's Tour, which since its inception in 2014 is regarded as one of the premier events on the women's international calendar. He is Race Controller on both the OVO Energy Tour of Britain and the OVO Energy Women's Tour.
Hannah is a writer, author and presenter. She has 16 years experience as a writer and editor for Time Inc's cycling titles before pursuing new projects in 2016. Hannah is our written content lead and heads up all of our written output and content creation for clients. An experienced cyclist and keen runner, Hannah has excellent knowledge of the endurance space and a talent for telling stories to a variety of audiences.
Helen is our Agency Administrator, working to keep things running smoothly and supporting the team on administrative tasks. After three seasons abroad in sunny Greece and snowy France, she settled in Warwickshire where she worked in the leisure industry for 13 years. Starting in a hospitality-focused role, she worked her way up in the company before finding her place (and a passion for organization) within the administration team. She has a love of the mountains, and although pretty terrible at it, she will try her best at skiing and snowboarding! She is more adept at swimming, Pilates and walking (especially if there is a dog involved). Helen loves to learn something new every day.
With a background in politics and event management, Jack joined Fusion after over three years working as a Parliamentary Assistant. A keen advocate for active travel and safer streets, Jack works across a range of Fusion clients, including supporting the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Cycling and Walking. Away from work, he is a volunteer with the Bike Project and takes his trusted Brompton on adventures around the country.
Kitty joins Fusion Media with two years experience in health, fitness and lifestyle PR. Kitty will be working on the day-to-day PR, securing national and lifestyle pieces of coverage for our clients. When not working, she can be found walking her dog or researching new places to travel.
Miles is a people person, marketeer and graphic designer. He was also fast on a bike, once. Now he enjoys life, riding slowly in the countryside and relishing the outdoors. Miles handles our special projects and campaigns.
Nick manages the day-to-day PR activity for a range of our clients. He joined Fusion from a background in broadcast PR and news generation, and prior to that worked for a number of years in the music industry, including 5 years spent at Sony Music. As a keen cycling fan, Nick is a member of some influential road cycling collectives, and can often be found spinning around London's parks.
Originally from Berlin, our Vanessa has experience with several adventure sports and activewear brands, covering everything from day-to-day PR to flagship store openings. Here at Fusion, she'll be making noise for our clients so they get the coverage they are looking for. When she is not in the office, Vanessa can be found surfing, skating, cycling or driving her houseboat.
Wiesia is a keen racing cyclist, competing regularly at events like the Tour Series. She has a 1st Class degree in Sports Management and 12 years of experience within the sports industry. V (as she's known to colleagues) heads up Fusion's account management. V was nominated in BikeBiz's Woman of the Year 2015. She completed The Transcontinental, an autonomous bike race across Europe, in August 2017. V was rider 53 and rode a total distance of 4,271km with total climbing of 52,559m. She is Fusion's Head of Agency, looking after the agency's growth, development and day-to-day activities.
