DATA ACT

The Data Act is part of the European Commission's wider data strategy aimed at making Europe a global leader in the data-agile economy... Blockchain for Europe (BC4EU), the European Blockchain Association (EBA), the Digital Currency Governance Consortium (DCGG), the European Crypto Initiative (EUCI), the International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA), and the IOTA Foundation have united as leading organizations within the blockchain industry. Together, we aim to represent and amplify the collective voice of our sector during the ongoing negotiations on the Data Act in Europe. Our joint advocacy stems from a shared aspiration - to ensure that the perspectives and insights from our industry are considered throughout these negotiations, and that the resulting regulatory frameworks foster innovation, rather than stifle it.
