Ann-Marie Holmes - VP

Ann-Marie Holmes, is the Intel Corporation, Corporate Vice President, Co-General Manager of Intel Worldwide Semiconductor Manufacturing. Ann-Marie hails from Co. Roscommon and is an Engineering Graduate of Trinity College Dublin. Ann-Marie joined Intel in 1991 as a new college graduate and has worked in Intel all her career, making her the first Irish graduate hire to go on and become an Intel Corporate Vice President. Ann-Marie has held a variety of different Engineering and Program Management roles before being named as the Fab 24/Ireland Factory Manager at the Ireland site in Leixlip, Co. Kildare in 2012. In 2016 Ann-Marie became a Vice President and was appointed the Co-General Manager of Intel Worldwide Semiconductor Manufacturing in 2020 where she oversees multiple factory operations globally, which includes Intel Ireland. In 2021, Ann-Marie was appointed Corporate Vice President within the Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations Group. She is passionate about driving transformative change, diversity and inclusion and developing organisational capability for technology start-ups and ramps.

Domhnall Carroll - CEO

Domhnall is the Chief Executive Officer of DMI and leads the overall operations and strategy of the organisation. Domhnall joined Digital Manufacturing Ireland (The National Advanced Manufacturing Centre) in December 2021, establishing and scaling the organisation to be a national showcase, an international exemplar and a centre of excellence for collaborative working on the transformation of manufacturing. Prior to this, Domhnall led the Digital Industries business in Ireland at Siemens, a leading global supplier of manufacturing automation equipment, software and services. In addition to the local business of Siemens Ltd., Domhnall was focused on the development of data-driven services in support of digital transformation, Industry 4.0 and the factory of the future. Domhnall joined Siemens in 2003, having previously held roles in engineering, sales and marketing in the manufacturing technology industry.

Fiona O'Rourke

Fiona is the Business Excellence Lead at DMI supporting our client's organization on improving processes enabling their digital transformation.

Fiona Tierney

Job Titles:

Fiona Tierney is a professionally qualified non-executive director, with experience as a board member in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. She is currently serving as a non-executive director on the board of Eircom Holdings (Ireland) Ltd, Ireland's premier communications company and of Wells Fargo Bank International UC, (the EU banking licence holder for Well Fargo) where she is a member of the Audit Committee and of the NomRem Committee. She is also a member of the Council of the Institute of Directors in Ireland. Fiona was appointed by the Taoiseach in 2019 as a member of the Top Level Appointments Committee (TLAC), a standing interview board which recommends candidates to Ministers and Government for an appointment at the most senior levels of the Irish civil service. She was also appointed by Government in 2018 to ‘Better Balance for Better Business', a business-led working group examining gender representation in the leadership of Irish business. Previously, Fiona was Chair of the Audit Committee in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (2019-2022) and was a Trustee of the Irish Management Institute (2013 - 2021), Ireland's leading provider of executive education; and of Pieta (2018-2022), a charity in Ireland focused on the prevention of suicide and self-harm. As CEO of Ireland's Public Appointments Service (PAS) from 2012-2018, Fiona was an ex-officio member of the Board of PAS and was a member of the Civil Service Management Board from 2013 - 2018. Educated at Trinity College, Dublin (BA (Mod) in Economics and Political Science) and University College Dublin (Masters in Public Administration), Fiona is a Chartered Director of the Institute of Directors (2017) and a Certified Bank Director of the Institute of Banking (2021).

Gary Hartnett

Gary works for Johnson and Johnson. He is currently VP of Partnership and External Supply for Janssen Supply Chain. Prior to his current role, Gary was General Manager/VP of Janssen Ireland Supply Chain and before that worked for the Medical Device Division of J&J where he had Ireland responsibility for the DePuy Synthes Ireland Operation which manufactures orthopaedic implants. Gary joined Johnson & Johnson in 2012 and earlier in his career worked in various Supply Chain Operational and Quality roles in various healthcare companies.

Gavin Rogers

Jamie Woodcock - Secretary

Jamie is a Senior Associate in Fieldfisher's Corporate & Commercial Team. He provides a range of corporate advisory, corporate governance and company compliance services to the firm's clients. He also advises both domestic and international businesses on M&A transactions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, shareholders' agreements and solvent restructurings. He has advised a broad client base on all aspects of Irish company law ranging from start-up companies to listed public limited companies.

Lionel Alexander - Chairman

Lionel Alexander has a strong background in advancing commercial and technical innovation in Ireland and globally. Lionel is currently the Chairman of Intact Software. He is also on the Board of St James's Hospital and Fine Grain Properties. Prior to this, Lionel completed a five-year term as Chairman of the Institute of Technology, Tralee, where he oversaw the amalgamation with Cork Institute of Technology to become Munster Technological University. As the former Vice-President and Managing Director of Hewlett Packard (HP), Lionel started his career in Singapore and relocated to Ireland where he managed the Irish Operations and HP's Global Consumer Supplies Business. He has also served on the Board of IDA Ireland for nine years, and the Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC) for six years, and he was both the President and a Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce. Lionel is currently a Fellow of the Irish Academy of Engineering and a Lifetime Fellow of the Irish Management Institute.

Rachel Shelly

Rachel Shelly is a member of IDA's Senior Management Team with global responsibility for Medical Technologies & Healthcare Services. Rachel leads the development and execution of departmental strategies across the MedTech sector, including new business development, strategic client management and transformation (across Talent, Innovation, Digitalisation and Sustainability) to enable and support foreign direct investment. Rachel joined IDA Ireland in 2006 where she spent 5 years based in IDA's New York office, managing corporate client relationships across the Content, Consumer, B2B Services and Engineering sectors. She subsequently managed the East Coast portfolio for IDA's Content, Consumer & Business Services sector. In her role as MedTech Department Manager since 2018, Rachel represents IDA in several areas in addition to Digital Manufacturing Ireland, including the Health Innovation Hub Ireland Oversight Group and Bioinnovate Advisory Board. Prior to joining IDA Ireland, Rachel spent 15 years in the Private Sector, in a number of marketing and management roles within the Health Tech industry. Rachel holds an MSc. in Strategic Management, and BBS in Marketing Management.
