The Innovative Foundation Child Development Center, born in 2015 in McAllen, was established by a couple who wanted to serve families while spending time with their own children. Having fulfilled their goal and with their children now grown up, the founding couple decided to move on. In 2019, the original center went through an acquisition and dropped the word "Foundation" from its name- so the new Innovative Child Development Center was born. The new leadership, with a big dream, sought to make Innovative become one of the area's most recognized centers. As we were one of the newest centers in the area, one thing was clear: we were set up to be something more than just a place that babysits children.
