JRD Media was established in 2004 by John Dowson who, following six years' experience within media recruitment, set up his own recruitment consultancy to focus exclusively on working with companies in the TV and Film industries. John is a Fellow of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation, the only professional body dedicated to representing the whole of the recruitment industry, and a member of Honest Recruiters, an informal industry body.
