However, you say flat in English and we say daire(circle) in Turkish what means home for us but today our home is much far away from it's circular shape . The round "Orda" on its top represents the sun, and daytime lighting is provided by the light coming from there. The bars that keep the place standing and extend to the walls of the tent represent the rays of the sun. Sun rays surround the inside of the round shaped tent representing the round world.
