Nick Beddoe

Nick is a Chartered Planning Consultant with over 7 years' experience in the private sector, working for the largest planning consultancy in the UK. Nick has a particular interest and expertise in sustainable design and renewable energy, and has previously worked in consultancy roles at the Building Research Establishment (BRE) and a specialist consultancy in New Zealand. Nick acts for private clients and developers to provide a full range of planning consultancy services and has a detailed understanding of planning policy and legislation in England and Wales. He is experienced across a range of sectors including residential, energy and infrastructure scheme and has delivered projects through the TCPA, DCO and DNS consenting regimes.

Peter Grubb

Peter is a Chartered Planning Consultant with over 16 years' experience in private practice. Peter was formerly a Partner at Smiths Gore and a Director and Head of the South West Planning Team at the largest planning consultancy in the UK before co-founding Lighthouse. Peter provides expert advice to help clients navigate the planning system including technical, political and strategy advice. Peter prepares planning applications, appeals and associated applications, drafts evidence, manages multi-environmental and legal disciplines, leads on the consenting processes and provides top level planning advocacy and expert evidence at Committees, Hearings, Inquiries and court proceedings. One of Peter's key strengths is his depth of experience and expertise across all sectors from small scale private client work and farm diversification schemes through to major residential development and national scale infrastructure projects. Peter prides himself on achieving successful outcomes for clients. This means achieving deliverable and commercially focussed planning consents tailored to client's needs, providing reliable advice on development potential of land and buildings and advising candidly on viability, feasibility and profitability from the outset.
