MATHABHANGA COLLEGE

Mathabhanga College, a promising educational institute for undergraduate studies, is situated about 1.5 Km away on SH 12A to the west of Mathabhanga town. It was established on 1st of September, 1969. Initially, it was affiliated to The University of North Bengal since 1st September 1969. However, The College is presently affiliated to Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University from 30th July, 2015 vide West Bengal Government Notification No 746 Edn(U)/IU(CB)-02/15 dated 30/07/2015. The College obtained permanent affiliation from UGC under Section 2(f) vides its letter no. F.1-9/2003(CPP-1), dated: 19.05.2004 and also 12B on 19.05.2004... Mathabhanga College was accredited by NAAC with Grade C+ on 10th February 2007. During the last few years after completion of Cycle I accreditation by the NAAC, Mathabhanga College has made substantial progress both in qualitative as well as quantitative terms in providing quality education.
