Mindfulness is about developing ways to stay more in the present moment, and spending less time and energy focused on the future or the past. To quote John Kabat-Zinn "Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way; On purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally."... Mindfulness Cornwall is dedicated to offering a range of mindfulness based approaches including 8 week courses, bespoke training sessions for the Workplace, supervision and individual mindfulness based therapy in line with the guiding principles to promote Good practice standards in teaching mindfulness based approaches from Bangor, Oxford and Exeter Universities... Mindfulness Cornwall began offering Mindfulness 8 week courses in Primary care for Outlook Southwest for people referred by their GPs and practice based therapists. This included a course for the North Cornwall Integrated care pilot project. More recently we have taught courses in the Community Mental Health Teams, The Eating disorder service..
