Originally from Gambia, Ebou has lived in Brighton for many years. His passion for African music led him to co-found African Night Fever, a monthly live music event over ten years ago. Now focusing on featuring established national and international artists as well as local bands, ANF promotes gigs at venues such as the Brighton Dome, the Ropetackle Centre at Shoreham, and the Komedia in Brighton

Sarah Naomi Lee

Sarah was brought up in London with a Jamaican father and English mother. After graduating with a degree in English Literature, she worked as a teacher, community worker and researcher in Cornwall, Ghana and Brighton. Sarah has written two radio plays for the BBC and a touring theatre piece called ‘Snakes and Ladders.' She also works extensively for universities on knowledge exchange and learning projects as well as delivering heritage projects in conjunction with museums and art galleries
