Adam Rhew - CEO, President

Adam Rhew is President and CEO of SouthPark Community Partners, an economic and community development nonprofit established in 2022 to drive the vitality of Charlotte's SouthPark area. Alongside SCP's team and partners, Adam works to inspire public and private investment in SouthPark, shaping it to fulfill the community's vision. He also serves as an advocate for the SouthPark district's infrastructure priorities, such as mobility, trails and greenway connections, and public space. Previously, Adam held leadership roles at Charlotte Center City Partners, which serves the city's central business district. Earlier in his career, he spent a decade as a broadcast and print journalist. His work has been recognized by the International Downtown Association, where he was a fellow in the Emerging Leaders program, and by Axios, which in 2023 named Adam one of Charlotte's most influential business leaders. A native Charlottean, Adam was raised in SouthPark's Beverly Woods neighborhood. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MBA with distinction from Wake Forest University, and an executive certificate in marketing strategy from the Yale School of Management. Adam is currently in his second term on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Community Equity Committee, is a director for GenerationNation, and has served as a Cub Scout den leader. He and his wife, Gillian, are the proud parents of three sons.

Lizzy Sirkin is a proud Charlottean and lifetime North Carolinian. Growing up in New Bern, N.C., she developed a passion for small business as her parents founded and ran a chain of photo development labs. During her time at UNC Chapel Hill, she first explored local media while working at the school's renowned paper, The Daily Tar Heel, which paved the way for her role at the Charlotte Agenda. While serving as Chief Revenue Officer, the Agenda was purchased by Axios to jumpstart their local news initiative, leveraging the Agenda business model to expand into dozens of other major metros across the U.S. In her current role as SCP's VP of Partnerships, she'll pull from this wealth of local experience to drive connectivity and collaboration among area businesses, leaders, and stakeholders.

Maddie Chase

Maddie moved to Charlotte in 2019 after falling in love with the city's vibrant atmosphere, thriving business community, and excellent bites and brews. Supporting local business is in her DNA, as her grandparents owned Italian restaurants in her hometown of Arlington, Virginia. Maddie supports the neighborhood as the Director of Marketing and Experience, helping build the SouthPark brand to create emotional connectivity, and animating the place with community-centered programming. Prior to her time with SouthPark Community Partners, she worked as the South End Brand Coordinator with Charlotte Center City Partners. Maddie is truly passionate about the creation of dynamic urban spaces and supporting thoughtful development in our communities. A self-proclaimed foodie, Maddie enjoys trying new Charlotte restaurants and can often be found at one of SouthPark's world-class bakeries or exploring local farmers markets. Maddie loves traveling, hiking, paddle boarding, and baking in her free time. Before moving to Charlotte, Maddie completed her Bachelor's of Science degree in Political Science and History at Longwood University in Virginia.
