Bill Melo

In his current role as vice president of marketing and strategic business development for Toshiba America Business Solutions, Bill Melo oversees the company's product and services marketing and education efforts, as well as select software development for print and digital signage. In this capacity Melo is responsible for developing the organization's marketing and branding strategies, as well as the print and digital signage solutions product and services portfolios. Melo began working at Toshiba in 2002 and most notably led the development and launch of the company's award-winning Encompass Managed Print Services program, the Toshiba Managed Business Services organization as well as its Ellumina™ digital signage line. Melo's prior employment experience includes: vice president, worldwide marketing for Hitachi Koki Imaging Solutions and national program manager for Ricoh Corporation. Melo is also the lead inventor on ten U.S. patents for print, digital signage and remote device management innovations. Melo is a graduate of Toshiba's Six Sigma certification program and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State College in New Jersey and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University.

Jason White - Chief Legal Officer

Jason White is the chief administrative officer and general counsel at Toshiba America Business Solutions. He additionally oversees Toshiba's legal, human resources, and real estate departments while establishing the company's goals and objectives in these areas. White is also a member of Toshiba's executive leadership team, which is tasked with charting the strategic direction of the company. Prior to joining Toshiba in 2006, White served as counsel specializing in employment and litigation at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, a global and top 50 law firm according to The American Lawyer. While there, he participated in all aspects of commercial, securities and intellectual property litigation and transactional counseling. White held a federal clerkship at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago. He holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. White has served as an officer for several nonprofit organizations throughout Orange County, California, focusing on youth athletics and physical and health education.

Jim Hawkins

As vice president at both Toshiba America Business Solutions (TABS) and Toshiba Business Solutions (TBS), Jim Hawkins oversees the organization's sales operations, professional services, project management, software solution sales, managed print services, business development and sales training for all channels of distribution as well as managing the direct channel in Latin America. Hawkins additionally provides strategic leadership and vision to position Toshiba products, solutions and services for success while ensuring revenue and growth objectives are realized most efficiently and effectively. Upon joining Toshiba as vice president of operations and acquisitions in November 2009, Hawkins shortly thereafter took over as vice president of TBS in May 2010. Hawkins has been in the office technology industry for more than 25 years while spending the majority of his career at Danka Office Imaging where he developed a strong background in sales, marketing and operations. Before accepting an executive role at Toshiba, Hawkins was senior vice president of field operations for Danka, overseeing approximately 250 employees while leading an executive team of nine direct reports. Hawkins obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida. He also participated in the Lead-On "Building High-Performance Teams" two-year leadership program from 2006-2008.

Kei Kato - SVP

Kei Kato has established a record of distinction internationally throughout his 20+ years at Toshiba since joining the company upon earning a Bachelor of Economics degree from Aoyama Gakuin University. Kato currently supports Toshiba America Business Solutions' president and chief executive while serving as senior vice president at TABS. He is particularly responsible for collaborating with TABS' primary leader to successfully develop, implement and manage sustainably profitable initiatives for the organization. Kato most recently supervised overseas operations for Toshiba Tec Corporation's (TABS' parent company) global subsidiaries. He has held senior roles across Toshiba's worldwide locations including Japan, Germany and the United Kingdom. Kato began his Toshiba career in 2001 as a clerk in the company's OEM sales department in Tokyo.

Kerstin Woods

Kerstin Woods launched her professional career designing rockets in the aerospace industry. In addition to business consulting, she has 20 years' experience in forming global partner alliances, as well as product and solutions development and partner/product marketing for small-to-large startups and Fortune 500 companies. As Toshiba's Vice President of Solutions and Outbound Marketing Woods is charged with creating and implementing expansion strategies for the company's E-STUDIO™ multifunction printers, THERMAL BARCODE PRINTERS, network document solutions, point-of-sale products, ELLUMINA™ digital signage line as well as third-party hardware, software and SaaS offerings. Woods also plays a significant role in channel management, business development and revenue growth at Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS). Before joining Toshiba in 2019, Woods served as senior director of channel product marketing at Oracle, with a focus on accelerating Oracle's cloud revenue within the global channel ecosystem. During her tenure at Oracle, she oversaw numerous product and solution launches, as well as sales enablement and go-to-market activities across Oracle's cloud software and converged infrastructure portfolio. Woods holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and studied psychology and business, with an engineering management emphasis, at Stanford University. She played Division 1 lacrosse at Stanford and currently serves as a volunteer in Orange County, Calif. for several community organizations.

Kim Jones

Kim Jones joined Toshiba in 2008 as a Senior Human Resources Representative. Her career within the company has spanned over a decade, where she recently served as Human Resources Director before accepting her current role as Vice President of Human Resources in October 2021. Jones oversees and champions all personnel initiatives, including partnering and collaborating with executive management to fulfill Toshiba's current and long-term human resources and overarching business objectives. Instrumental in creating the company's pandemic response, she assisted in the development of successful work-from-home procedures, policies, and training programs. Her additional responsibilities include communicating employee safety requirements, benefits, and other integral pandemic-related information to Toshiba personnel. She also leads Toshiba's Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement committee, recently formed in September 2021, which is a strategic initiative for the company. Prior to her time at Toshiba, Jones was responsible for recruiting and employee relations at Option One Mortgage Company, a subsidiary of H&R Block. Moreover, she oversaw Lending Hands, that company's charitable giving and volunteer department. As an active member of the community, Jones also volunteers on the Tech Team at her home church and is actively involved with non-profit community theaters in Southern California. She holds a combined Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Larry White - CEO, President

Larry White is the president and chief executive officer of Toshiba America Business Solutions (TABS) and sets and oversees the strategic direction and operations for the company. The company comprises five divisions: the Electronic Imaging Division, Toner Products Division, Document Solutions Engineering Division, the International Division and Toshiba Business Solutions, the direct sales and service channel with a network of more than 100 offices across the United States and Latin America. Before stepping into TABS' top job, White was the company's chief operating officer. Within this leadership role, he oversaw strategic planning across the organization while specifically in charge of the company's sales, customer service, supply chain, innovation, professional services and solutions marketing operations throughout North and South America. White also served as TABS' chief revenue officer responsible for achieving revenue objectives by successfully developing and implementing profitable growth strategies for the company's direct and independent sales channels. He joined Toshiba in 1996 as the vice president of operations and acquisitions for Toshiba Office Products Acquisition Company, which is currently Toshiba Business Solutions, the company's direct sales channel. White is a three-time ENX Magazine ‘Difference Maker' and was selected to The Cannata Report's: Cannata Watchlist 2018 as an executive poised to make a positive impact. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Texas Tech University.

Leon Roberge - CIO

Leon Roberge has the distinction of serving as chief information officer at Toshiba America Business Solutions and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions. Within this role, Roberge is responsible for developing global IT strategy and information security policies and standards for both companies. He is also tasked with establishing the organizations' IT architecture, managing vendors and suppliers and developing staff. Roberge previously served as vice president of information technology at the two Toshiba companies. Roberge was responsible for the IT departments at Toshiba America Business Solutions and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions since 2016 and served 16 years in senior IT roles at Toshiba America, Inc. and Toshiba America Electronic Components. As vice president of IT at Toshiba America, Inc., he adopted initiatives standardizing, consolidating and reducing costs through the development of shared service centers servicing multiple Toshiba companies.

Michael Torcaso

As senior vice president and executive chief financial officer at Toshiba America Business Solutions (TABS), Michael Torcaso leads the financial planning and accounting functions, including all U.S., Asia-Pacific, European, and Latin America financial operations. He also oversees leasing, enterprise administration, internal and external audit coordination, treasury functions and Japan's Financial Instruments and Exchange Law (J-Sox). Michael Torcaso joined TABS in 2000 as vice president of finance. During his tenure in this position, he managed the division financial planning and accounting including wholesale, manufacturing, retail and leasing aspects of the business. Torcaso joined TABS after several years of working for Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. as controller, PC Manufacturing. He previously worked for Rockwell International, Merrill Lynch and Arthur Young & Co. (now Ernst & Young). He is a certified public accountant (inactive) with experience in public accounting, aerospace, semiconductor and technology. Torcaso holds a bachelor's degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

R. Steven Tungate

R. Steven Tungate is responsible for overseeing the company's innovation, technical support, service and supply chain management organizations. In this role, Tungate is charged with efficiently managing Toshiba America Business Solutions' (TABS) complex supply chain, which includes procurement, import/export, inventory control, transportation, customer service and distribution. Within this position, Tungate plays a prominent role to the overall growth and success of TABS. Leading TABS' innovation program, he couples astute business strategy with such industry recognizable tools as Six Sigma. In directing the company's industry-recognized technical support and service teams, Tungate oversees a team of more than 1,000 employees that interact with customers daily. He started at TABS in 2006 as vice president, Strategic Business Planning. Prior to joining TABS, Tungate served as executive vice president, supply chain and service at Danka Office Imaging, and president of the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, ImageOne, Inc. His successful leadership at Danka was conveyed in a Supply Chain Management Review article, "From Mess to Mastery: How Danka Rebuilt Its Supply Chain." Before working at Danka, Tungate served as senior vice president of operations at internet startup company, Value America, Inc., where he played a prominent role in engineering one of the industries' largest initial public offerings in U.S. history. Upon assuming the role of chief executive officer in 2000, Tungate led the sale of the company to Merisel, Inc., a distributor of information technology and software. He earned an MBA with an emphasis in material and logistics management from Michigan State University in 1983. Upon graduation, Tungate worked at IBM Corp. for more than 15 years. During his tenure there, he held successive management positions in a number of functional disciplines and divisions, including program director, PowerPC operations within IBM's Enterprise Systems and Personal Systems Divisions.

Steven Sauer

As the chief revenue officer at Toshiba America Business Solutions, Steven Sauer is primarily responsible for increasing the company's revenue and profitability via its United States direct and indirect sales channels. With a background in corporate banking, Sauer began his career in the industry as the chief operating officer of Business Methods, Inc., a reseller of multifunction printers, commercial audio-visual systems and IT solutions in Rochester, N.Y. He soon after became president and owner, during which time he more than doubled revenues to $30 million and grew the business to a highly profitable and reputable local dealership. Upon selling the business to Toshiba in 2004, Sauer became president of TBS New York. He has held a variety of sales positions regionally and nationally at Toshiba. Within his previous role as president of Toshiba Business Solutions, Sauer oversaw sales, professional services and operational management of TBS' four regions with nearly 100 locations across the United States. In this position, he successfully navigated Toshiba's direct sales channel through the pandemic while also dramatically increasing the company's managed print as a service, software solutions and major account businesses. Sauer has received recognition as a Rochester, New York Chamber of Commerce ‘Small Businessperson of the Year,' Rochester Business Journal Forty Under 40 recipient, Mental Health Association of Rochester/Monroe County ‘Volunteer of the Year,' and ENX Magazine Difference Maker. He is also highly involved in elevating Rochester by serving on the board of Genesee Regional Bank. Sauer has additionally served as vice chairperson of Unity Health System, president of the Mental Health Association of Rochester/Monroe County, chairperson of the Young Entrepreneur Academy, and spent a decade coaching a Rochester youth hockey team. Sauer holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York College at Geneseo. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Education Owner/President Management Program.

Teresa Sternhagen
