Sequoia Center was founded as a response to the growing disparity between the need for psychedelic-assisted therapy and access to affordable services. As boutique for-profit psychedelic retreat centers continue to proliferate across the country, many people who are most in need of services find them financially out of reach. Our goal is to remedy this growing gap by pouring our funding into the services we provide, as an investment in our community... The Sequoia Center provides ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and related therapeutic services, with a focus on accessibility for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC people, and conducts research in order to define best practices and ethical standards for the field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy... We are delighted to announce that Sequoia Center has been officially granted tax-exempt status as a 501c3 nonprofit organization!...
