Since joining Christie & Co in 1991, Brian has exclusively worked in Scotland initially specialising within the Public House Sector before covering The Hospitality Sector including bars, restaurants and hotels. Within his tenure at Christie & Co, Brian has sold over 700 businesses across the Hospitality Sector both on an individual and portfolio asset basis. Dealing with operators on a local, regional and national basis, Brian has also been heavily involved in advising banks and administrators within the distressed arena over the last 15 years. His specialist skills include defining clients needs, providing strategic and brokerage advice as well as business sale and acquisition. Brian is respected within the industry especially among the many regional and national pub operators for his incisive views on market trends and the changes impacting these businesses. A former professional footballer, he continues to coach a semi-professional team since retirement from active duty. Brian is a father to two children, and a grandfather to three Grandsons. He has taken a keen interest in triathlon in which his son competes regularly in the Elite ITU World Series. He is keen on most sports in particular golf and squash

Carine leads the hotel specialist team at Christie & Co, including corporate agency and investment teams as well as our European advisory teams Based in London, Carine has been with Christie & Co since 2005 and in October 2019 was promoted to lead the hotel specialist team at Christie & Co, including corporate agency and investment teams as well as the advisory team in the UK and to develop our hotel profile in continental Europe and beyond. Over the years she has led several high-profile investment advisory projects in the UK and across Europe for leading hotel groups and investors. Carine holds an MBA in International Hotel Management from IMHI - a joint programme between Cornell University, Ithaca, and ESSEC business school, Paris. She also has a BSc (Hons) degree in Hotel Management.

As Managing Director of Childcare & Education Sectors at Christie & Co, Courteney has a vast range of expertise in the childcare and education sectors. Courteney has specialised in the nursery sector since 1999, providing valuation, transactional and consultative advice to operators, banks and investors. In one capacity or another, she has been involved in virtually every major nursery transaction since 2006. Working with owners of single settings, regional and national nursery groups across the UK, Courteney has a unique insight into current trends in the market, including levels of demand and sustainability. Alongside her work in the nursery sector, Courteney also advises on other child-centric businesses including residential special educational needs schools, children's homes, independent schools and foster care businesses. In addition to Courteney's national role at Christie & Co, and as testament to her expertise in the nursery sector, she was invited to join the board of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) as a Co-opted Trustee. Courteney is frequently invited to speak at conferences and seminars.

Darren joined Christie & Co in 2001 and, having worked in the Birmingham, Leeds and London offices, was appointed Global Managing Director in 2020. He has overall responsibility for all Christie & Co's specialist transactional and advisory activities, having previously held the position of Managing Director - Capital Markets and Head of Valuation. Darren has practical advisory, brokerage, consultancy and valuation experience across a broad range of trading businesses and operational real estate and has led teams handling numerous disposal and valuation assignments for many high profile clients. Darren is a Chartered Surveyor (FRICS), RICS Registered Valuer and also an APC Chairman and assessor for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Urban Land Economics and a postgraduate diploma in Organisational Leadership from the University of Oxford.

Dave has the responsibility for managing the convenience retail team in the Midlands and South West whilst also managing some regional and national key accounts. Dave won Christie & Co's Retail Agent of The Year in 2017 and 2018 and has practical advisory and brokerage experience across a broad range of trading convenience retail businesses. Some of Dave's key projects include the sale of Wyevale Garden Centres on behalf of Terra Firma in 2019, assisting a forecourt operator backed by private equity to grow from 1 to 59 forecourts in 10 years and is the key disposal agent for multiple independent group operators. Dave has also been appointed by administrators on numerous projects that included the sale of L & F Jones Holdings Ltd (convenience stores) in early 2021 and more recently in the sale of Georges Tradition Ltd fish and chip shops in the midlands. Dave holds an LL.B (Hons) in Law and also presents regularly at the Petrol Retailers Association regional events.
Dave joined Christie & Co in 2012 and, having worked in the Bristol and Nottingham offices, was appointed Regional Director - Retail in January 2022.
