LEMLEC - Key Persons
Ben joined us early in 2021 after having spent 14 years in the electrical wholesale industry. He has an extensive product knowledge and a great rappor with suppliers & clients. Ben's position is a totally new venture for lemlec and we are all excited to see what great ideas and implementations ben makes over the coming months & years.
Brian joined the team in early 2019. We discovered that having a multi skilled tradesman was a neccesity to assist us with the wide variety of jobs we undertake. Having gained over 40 years of experience in the trade by working for others and himself we were really pleased to welcome Brian on board.
Cavan joined us in 2021 after having been majorly let down by his previous employer. He was promised the opportunity to undertake his apprenticeship and after a number of months it was clear that wasn't on offer. Keen and willing to progress cavan took the time to organise everything required for the apprenticeship and was then let go from his role as a result. He contacted lemlec and explained the situation and true to lemlecs core values we were able to help cavan progress. He has been an excellent addition to the team and is a real pleasure to have with us. We wish him all the luck with his progression.
Chris joined the team in 2021 after having worked for a local mechanical contracting company. Chris is one of our gas safe engineers who specialises in natural gas and lpg. He has worked in the field for many years and brings a calm and thorough approach to his work.
Damon joined the team in 2021 after having worked at the same company as Chris Williams. He was also looking for a new direction and fresh opportunities. Damon completed his plumbing apprenticeship in 2020 after having studies for several years.

Emma joined the team in September 2020 with over 20 years in customer service. Emma has recently joined the Gas & Plumbing sector and is committed to giving a high standard of customer care & mechanical expertise within her role.
Jim joined us in late 2021. Having previously worked with one of our managing directors at a different company, Jim knew what he was letting himself in for. He has over 30 years experience in the electrical field and started off with generators and power distribution. Jim is the latest addition to our team and we wish you well on your new adventure.
Johnnie started in the industry when he left school at 16 and has spent the majority of his career working in and around London & M25 area. Bringing over 35 years of experience to our mechanical team, his wisdom, knowledge, customer service & attention to detail are well-honed.

Nathan joined the team as our Operations Manager in October 2018. He started off in the industry over 15 years ago and has worked for a couple of large contracting companies. The most recent being SB Electrical. Whilst at SB Electrical for 10 years the company grew from around 5 engineers to over 40 and his hard work was testament to the companies success. Nothing is too much trouble and Nathan will go out of his way to ensure the client is happy throughout any project. A real asset to the team. He is approachable, very knowledgeable and not shy with getting stuck in. In September 2020 Nathan was promoted from Operations Manager to Managing Director.
Richard joined the team in 2021. Previously self-employed Richard has worked on many large commercial and industrial sites and specialises in plant rooms, pumps & larger installation works. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience and drive.
I started off in the industry as an apprentice Catering engineer. After having spent 3 years in that industry I left employment and set up my first business. It was there I spent 24 months refurbishing catering equipment, carrying out service, repairs and installations for some of the world's biggest brands in catering equipment.
In 2014 I was approached by a family friend Mr Frank Louch who had started Lemlec in approximately 1980. He was looking for a trusted, keen individual to reignite the business, take it forward and build on it's previous successes.
Sam started in the plumbing industry in 2015 after moving to the Island from North Wales where he had previously worked for the local water board.
On moving to the island Sam studied plumbing at college, where he was awarded an outstanding achievement award, whilst working with some local plumbers he experienced the trade first hand. He then spent the next 2 years developing his skills and knowledge working for a local plumbing company, installing some of the largest domestic heating and hot water systems there are. Sam then went on to develop his own business where he did anything from, leaking taps to full bathroom and heating installations. After subcontracting to us for a few months, the opportunity arose to join our team, which Sam couldn't have been happier to do.
Sophie joined us in 2021. Having previously worked in totally different sectors Sophie was totally new to the office environment and the challenges a busy reception brings. Welcoming the challenge and opportunity Sophie has settled in well bringing a cheeky smile and positive vibe to the office.
