Alter Building Design, Inc. is a full-service architecture firm focused on both exterior and interior design. We are committed to communicating and collaborating with the client--whether the project is large or small in scope, residential or commercial, new construction or the renovation of an existing building... Alter Building Design, Inc. was formed by Elizabeth Alter in 2001. She earned a Masters in Architecture in 1998 from the University of Texas in Austin where she was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Certificate for Excellence in the Study of Architecture. She majored in Architecture at Yale University, completing her BA in 1988, and then taught art and design for three years--first at a private school in Connecticut and then in Botswana in southern Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer.
