Te Hapori Matihiko was founded by Lee Timutimu and Katie Brown, pairing Lee's skills and connections in the tech industry with Katie's in digital communications and government... Te Hapori Matihiko is a community for Māori working, or aspiring to work, in the digital or tech industries, both in Aotearoa and abroad. We provide advocacy, connection, cultural support and empowerment so that whānau Māori thrive in these high-value roles... Te Hapori Maihiko is a community for Māori working (or aspiring to work) in digital and tech roles. Prior to building this kaupapa, we surveyed Māori working in digital to understand their needs. We also looked overseas at other indigenous kaupapa for digital and tech. This is by Māori, for Māori, of Māori.
