Christian Munafo

Job Titles:

Christian has 21 years of experience in financial services and investment management, with the last 16 years focused on secondary investments involving venture-backed and growth equity-oriented companies and funds. During this time, he has also served on the boards of many of these companies and funds. Prior to Liberty Street Advisors, Christian was CIO of SPIM overseeing all investment related functions. Christian still serves as one of the portfolio managers of the PrivateShares Fund, formerly the SharesPost 100 Fund, and a member of the investment committee. Prior to joining the PrivateShares Fund investment management team and Liberty Street Advisors, Inc., Christian was Co-Head of the Global Private Equity Secondaries Practice at HQ Capital based in New York, a $10+ billion alternative investment firm headquartered in Germany. Prior to that, he served as Head of Secondaries at Thomas Weisel Partners. Christian started his career as an investment banker at Banc of America Securities. In aggregate, Christian has helped raise more than $1 billion globally from institutional investors, corporations, pensions, endowments and family offices, and has completed or overseen the completion of more than 100 secondary transactions representing over $1 billion in capital commitments. Christian received his BA from Rutgers College.

David Gutierrez

David has 4 years of experience in financial services and investment management, with the last year focused on the investment and valuation of venture-backed companies. Prior to joining the Private Shares Fund investment management team and Liberty Street Advisors, David worked at CS Capital Advisors, a boutique investment bank covering the healthcare/real estate sectors, as well as in the Transaction Advisory Services group at Ernst & Young, focusing on business and security valuations related to mergers & acquisitions as well as tax & financial reporting. David holds a BS in Economics from the University of Oregon and a Master's in Finance from the University of Rochester.

Jack Sweeney

Jack has 10 years of experience in fund administration and accounting, with the last 5 years focused on venture-backed funds and companies. Prior to Liberty Street Advisors, Jack was the CFO at SPIM. While in that role, he also served as Treasurer and Principal Finance Officer of the Private Shares Fund, formerly the SharesPost 100 Fund, a role in which he still serves. Prior to joining the Private Shares Fund team and Liberty Street Advisors, Jack worked at Venrock as a Finance Manager performing various accounting and finance functions for private and public funds. Jack began his career at Ernst & Young, LLP focusing on auditing large publicly-traded entities as well as private entities in various industries. Jack holds a B.S. in Accounting and a Minor in Mathematics from California State University, Chico and holds an active license as a Certified Public Accountant in California.

Jennifer Pruitt

Prior to joining the PrivateShares Fund investment management team and Liberty Street Advisors, Jennifer worked at Houlihan Lokey in the financial advisory group, focusing on business and security valuations related to mergers & acquisitions as well as tax & financial reporting. Jennifer holds a BBA in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame, summa cum laude, and a Master's in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.

Joe Malizia

Joe has 8 years of experience in financial services and investment management, with the last 2 years focused on business development in the Private Equity and Venture Capital space. Prior to joining the Private Shares Fund team and Liberty Street Advisors, Joe worked at PKF O'Connor Davies helping run business development in the financial advisory group. He also spent time at Allen & Company Investment Bank and started his career at KPMG. Joe graduated from James Madison University with a B.B.A in Accounting and minor in Computer Information Systems.

Jonas Grankvist

Jonas has 12 years of experience in financial services and investment management, with the last 9 years focused on the investment and valuation of venture-backed companies. Prior to Liberty Street Advisors, Jonas was a Director of SPIM responsible for investment and valuation related functions. Jonas still serves as one of the portfolio managers of the Private Shares Fund, formerly the SharesPost 100 Fund, and a member of the investment committee. Prior to joining the Private Shares Fund investment management team and Liberty Street Advisors, Inc., Jonas was an investment banker with Berman Capital, covering a wide range of industries including Internet, digital media and software. Jonas received his LLM from Uppsala University and an MBA from Golden Gate University. Jonas is also a mentor for the Thiel Foundation's 20 Under 20 Fellowship.

Kelvin Mong

Kelvin has 11 years of experience in financial services and investment management, with the last 5 years focused on the investment and valuation of venture-backed companies. Prior to joining PrivateShares Fund investment management team and Liberty Street Advisors, Inc., Kelvin worked at Silicon Valley Bank Capital focusing on accounting and valuations for SVB Capital's fund-of-fund and direct investments. Additionally, Kelvin worked at SVB Private Bank managing client relationships and credit underwriting. Kelvin holds a B.S. in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.

Kevin Moss

Kevin has over 25 years of senior level experience in financial services, his specific areas of expertise include the management of client relationships, investment research coverage, block and position trading, and operations management. Prior to Liberty Street Advisors, Kevin was President & COO of SharesPost Investment Management (SPIM) overseeing the operations and trading of the SPIM funds. He is also one of the creators of the PrivateShares Fund, formerly the SharesPost 100 Fund, still serving as the President of the fund, one of the portfolio managers and a member of the investment committee. Prior to joining PrivateShares Fund investment management team and Liberty Street Advisors, Inc., Kevin was a senior portfolio manager at First New York Securities, where he managed a global macro book. Kevin began his career as an institutional equity's sales trader working for Instinet, and later Commerzbank. His client base included hedge funds, pension funds and proprietary trading desks. Subsequently, Kevin held a series of distinguished posts at leading hedge funds and proprietary trading firms including serving as the head of international trading for Libra Advisors and Opus Trading Funds. Kevin received his undergraduate degree in finance from Tulane University and his MBA from Columbia Business School, magna cum laude.

Mark Radcliffe

Mark Radcliffe has been a member of the Board of Trustees since the Fund's inception. As a partner of DLA Piper USA, LLP and its predecessor firms since 1989, Mark represents startup technology corporations in their intellectual property and finance matters. He also represents Fortune 100 companies in complex intellectual property transactions, and has worked in a wide variety of industries, from Internet to software to cloud to semiconductors. In 2011, the Department of State appointed Mark to be one of 10 private members of the U.S.-Japan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Council. In 1997, the National Law Journal listed him as one of America's 100 most influential lawyers, and the San Francisco Business Times has named him among the best lawyers in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been listed in the "The Best Lawyers in America," and as one of Northern California's Top 100 intellectual property attorneys in "Super Lawyers." He has also been named as one of "America's Leading Lawyers for Business" in Who's Who Legal publication. In 1998, Harvard Law School designated him a "Distinguished Alumni." Mark earned a B.S. in chemistry magna cum laude from University of Michigan and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Robert J. Boulware - Chairman

Robert J. Boulware has served as a member of the Board of Trustees since the Private Shares Fund's inception (formerly the SharesPost 100 Fund), and has been an executive in the financial services industry for 35 years. Since March 2008, Bob has been a trustee for Met Investors Series Trust, a $140 billion fund complex, as well as Vertical Capital Income Fund, a startup mutual fund, since 2012. He also serves as a director of Gainsco Inc. (PINK: GANS), a public traded auto insurance company, and as Managing Director of private-equity fund, Pilgrim Funds, LLC. From 1992 to 2006, Bob was the President and Chief Executive Officer of ING Funds Distributor, LLC. Bob holds a BSBA from Northern Arizona University, College of Business Administration.
