The IC of Australia has a rich history, created in 1951 by a group of our players and officials including Adrian Quist, Cliff Sproule senior and the great Frank Sedgman, winner of 22 grand slam titles. The aim then was to promote friendship and goodwill between players and countries, and remains that today... We represent Australia's tennis alumni, comprising former Davis and Fed Cup players, ATP and WTA world ranked players, Grand Slam competitors and those ranked in Australia's top 20... We are always looking to build on our good relationship with Tennis Australia, our national federation. Importantly, we appreciate and acknowledge the support from the iconic Melbourne clubs, Kooyong and Royal South Yarra, with whom we enjoy strong bonds. We also aim to assist retiring Australian players as they transition to life after the tennis tour, and indeed reach out to any of our tennis family members in need of advice or support.
