Chris Saunders

Chris is responsible for all the financial aspects of Iris Care Group, as well as overseeing other key areas of risk, such as cyber and IT security. Chris qualified as an accountant in 2010, and has worked in a number of finance roles.

Dr. Andrew Hider

Dr Andrew Hider is a Consultant Clinical and Forensic Psychologist. He studied Experimental Psychology and Philosophy (PPP) at Corpus Christi College, University of Oxford, graduating in 1996. After a period of two years working for a specialist challenging behaviour service based at the Welsh Centre for Learning Disability he completed his clinical training at the University of Plymouth and received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2001. Since then he has worked exclusively with people with severe and complex problems and offending behaviour and has worked with forensic populations in low and medium secure and community settings in the United Kingdom. Clinically he is interested in providing psychological support to people whose needs may cross over multiple clinical areas including mental illness, personality and complex trauma, and learning disability. His research interests include evaluating inpatient group therapies and interventions for men with offending behaviours and mental health problems, evidence-based triage in the psychological therapies, the relationship between neurodevelopmental disorders and offending behaviour, violence risk, and mental health staff cultures. He is currently an external examiner on the Doctorate in Forensic Psychology at the School of Medicine, University of Nottingham. Since 2012 he has worked as Clinical Director for Ludlow Street Healthcare. He is a member of the Board of Directors with specific accountability for supporting reductions in restrictive practice and the promotion of person-centred principles throughout the organisation.

Helen Leigh

Helen has worked across charity sector and private healthcare settings and joined Ocean Community Services as Area Manager in 2016. A qualified LD nurse, Helen has worked in health and social care in both the charity and private sectors since 1985. Working within the resettlement team, she was instrumental in supporting the closure of long stay hospitals. Helen is the Registered Individual for both Beechwood College and our Resdinetial Services (Ocean Community Services).

Janine Strange - Chief Commercial Officer

Janine joined the Iris Care Group in November 2022. A qualified Social Worker with a Masters level qualification in management, Janine has working in senior leadership positions in Turning Point, Lighthouse Healthcare and Elysium Healthcare. Janine has significant experience in successfully building relationships with purchasers to provide high quality services. Janine joined Iris to enable people we support their families and commissioners to access care where and when they need it most.

Michelle Cox-Coley

Michelle had been Holmleigh Care's Director of Operations for the previous two years prior to taking up the role of Operations Director, Social Care (England) in the new Iris Care Group. Having originally started in healthcare as a Support Worker, Michelle has built an impressive career in the care sector supporting people with disabilities. With strong values and a great sense of humour, Michelle believes in fostering a culture of engagement, integrity, equality, fun, openness, and team spiritedness.

Peter Kinsey - CEO, Chairman

Peter has over 35 years of health and social care experience, working across the sector. Most recently he was CEO of the Care Management Group/Achieve Together, and has previously worked as a Director of Mental Health Services in the NHS and as a local authority Strategic Commissioning Manager. He has also chaired Care England's Learning Disability Group and been on the board of Learning Disability England

Sarah House

Sarah House has been with the Iris Care Group for 15 years. She joined as a training manager, having previously been a care home manager. She progressively undertook a variety of managerial roles including Service Director at Pinetree before moving up to Operations Director, Hospitals role at the end of 2022.

Yvonne Murray

Yvonne Murray is an experienced HR Practitioner who joins the Iris Care Group as People Director. She has held senior posts in several organisations and was, most recently, the Director of People & Organisational Development at the Brandon Trust, a learning and disability charity. Prior to this, her employment included working for two national charities, Cardiff Airport, various NHS organisations and Tesco. Yvonne is person-centred, collaborative and is committed to upholding the highest standards of fairness and integrity. She is passionate about promoting wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion.
