Along with some of our colleagues in Fitzallan's administration team, we worked for many years with Ernst & Young, the global accountancy firm. Fitzallan was established, as an entirely fee-based business in 2004 following the sale of the part of Ernst & Young in which we worked... Fitzallan is a Chartered Financial Planning firm based in Glasgow, but advises clients throughout the UK, and further afield... As advisers, we are amongst the most qualified in the UK and Fitzallan became one of the very first firms to achieve ‘Chartered' status in the UK, which, at Spring 2016, only 693 of 5,200 authorised firms qualify for. Our clients expect us to be highly qualified of course, and exam passes only go so far, but we are fortunate to be able to draw on more than 50 years industry experience and over 40 years of combined experience of dealing with the types of client we typically advise.
