Before joining the team of Exercise Specialists at Belong, Aaron's previous role involved working with clients at a local leisure centre, on a one-to-one basis. He has experience in creating personalised exercise plans and demonstration of exercise techniques; observing clients to ensure the correct posture was applied. Aaron was also responsible for introducing new members to the gym and showing them how to use the equipment. He also led a wellness class which included a variety of exercises and led a family class where parents and children could enjoy exercise together.
Ali started her pharmaceutical career in medicinal research before moving on to roles in regulatory affairs and drug development project management.
She was Vice President of International Regulatory Affairs for AstraZeneca, overseeing all emerging countries and then Vice President of European Regulatory Affairs. She was Chair of the Industry Association Regulatory Committees for these regions. Following her career in industry, Ali became board member for an acute and community NHS Trust, where she chaired a number of committees including those accountable for safety and quality.
Ali is is passionate about working alongside people affected by dementia and is also a Board member and trustee for the Alzheimer's Society, where she has chaired the committee responsible for delivering services and now chairs the People Committee. Ali is an ambassador for Women on Boards and helps delivers training programmes to support and encourage more women into board positions.
More recently, Ali has taken on a role as Independent Monitoring Board member for Her Majesty's Prison and Probation service. Ali. She enjoys dance classes, gardening and sharing a glass of fizz with friends!

As Support Manager, Amie is the Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission, responsible for ensuring our care service is well led, safe, effective, responsive and caring. Amie was promoted to the post on the back of her track record as a Lead Senior Support Worker at the village and commands the respect of colleagues and families alike.
Before joining Belong Macclesfield in 2019, Andre worked in a variety of roles within the leisure and educational sectors. He is qualified with a Bsc Hons Degree in Sport and Health Studies, Level 2 Gym Instructor, Level 3 in Sports and Recreation, holds a YMCA Personal Trainers Award and has experience of working within a cardiac rehabilitation group.
Since working at the village Andre has also completed a First Aid and GP referral course. Andre's role as Belong Macclesfield's Fitness Instructor involves organising and delivering a specialist exercise and rehabilitation service and activities throughout the village, which aim to improve the health and wellbeing of residents. In his own time Andre likes to keep fit and is a keen hiker and camper.
Andrea has over 25 years' experience working in the public sector for the NHS and local authorities, in a range of roles from community health development to Executive Director.
For the past ten years, she has worked as a management consultant across health, social care, third sector organisations and national policy development. She has also worked as a non-executive director of an NHS Trust since 2012.
Andrea holds a Masters degree in Social and Public Policy from the University of Leeds. She has worked tirelessly in communities to improve health and well-being and is a strong advocate for achieving this by listening, showing respect and maximising choice and independence for individuals in society.

Andy is a highly motivated and caring member of the Belong at Home team and its longest standing colleague, having been appointed as its first community support worker when the service was launched in 2009.
Andy embodies Belong values and has worked across the various Belong at Home regions to support local teams through various challenging periods. He has been instrumental in developing the service to its current level and is committed to taking it to the next level, both in terms of business growth and closer integration with the villages to ensure our services operate in a complementary manner. He is loved and admired by customers and colleagues alike, working closely with his care team and also with other managers, providing support to all who need it. As Business Manager, Andrew maintains his focus on the customer, leading by example and showing his usual determination to ensure that clients receive person-centred support from a team who he is personally invested in. Andrew is a great example of someone who lives and breathes the organisation's ethos, values and culture, and instils these into both his team and other managers. He is a truly inspirational individual.

Angela is a fully qualified chef and has been in the catering industry for over thirty years. She has extensive experience in all aspects of catering, from school food provisions, to five-star fine dining. Angela's career in catering started in the Lake District as a Commis Chef, where she progressed to Chef de Partie and later to the role of Development Chef for Wigan Council. Angela joined the bistro team at Belong Wigan in 2014 and is responsible for overseeing all of the catering within the village, she also manages special dietary requirements and delivers Dysphasia training to colleagues. Angela has also received an ‘Innovation Award' for her work.
