Elliott Maurice - CEO

Elliott Maurice started working in his family business in 1989 whilst continuing his studies in architectural design. In 1990 he consulted for Euro Disney in Paris as a project manager for lighting during the project's final stages of construction through to opening. Upon his return he continued his studies and became a partner of then Classic Reproductions, designing and significantly increasing the range and scope of customers. In 2002 he purchased the company from his partners and re-branded the company to its original trading name of The Limehouse Lamp Company. Continuing the company's tradition with significant additions to the company's portfolio of products. He continues to design all new products to date. Elliott also maintains his consulting role in design and architecture through building projects and in 2006 won a Sussex Heritage award for design and project management for the refurbishment of the Sussex stately home Stanmer House converting the dilapidated building into a wedding and conference venue. His involvement in the Harry Potter projects for Universal Studios and most recently consulted in design and built 3m wide specialist earthquake proof chandelier's for Universal Studios theme park in Osaka's new "Sing on Tour" experience.

Gary Davis

Gary Davis started with Limehouse in 1997. Over the past 2 plus decades Gary has been involved in every aspect of production throughout The Limehouse Lamp Company. From building and production of lights, wiring and finishing, packing and logistics and quality assurance. Gary is hands on daily and with more than two decades on the team, he provides invaluable leadership in all aspects of the day to day production of lights for our customers.

Joanna Stevens

Joanne Stevens started working at Limehouse in Nov 2015. Joanne came from a customer services background in the travel industry. During her five years at Limehouse she has gained experience in all aspects of the Limehouse Company's products and procedures, Incorporating her excellent IT and accounting skills, she is valuable part of Limehouse's office team.

John Garrett - COO

John Garrett started with The Limehouse Lamp Company in 2016. As a qualified Electrical Engineer and his previous decades of experience at director level has proved invaluable to Limehouse. John has been highly active in implementing detailed Quality Assurance policy and day to day Health and Safety policy in order to further improve service and quality for both staff and customers. John is actively involved in the day to day running of Limehouse and continues to refine process and production methods along with production planning.

Peter Maurice - Founder

Peter Maurice was born in 1939 in London. At 17 he started his engineering apprenticeship in Crewe working on Locomotives. During this period Peter engaged in sculpting, working with bronze and copper, he also become highly skilled in prototype modelling. At 22 years old he completed his engineering degree. He proceeded to move into aeronautical engineering where he became a flight engineer and then a commercial pilot. His career allowed him to travel the globe. Flying piston engine airliners throughout the 1960's. In the early 1970's during the world oil crisis. Peter found employment to be very challenging with airlines falling into bankruptcy. With a young family to provide for, he started selling oil lamps out of the back of a van. This led him to start taking apart old lamps and re-creating them. He quickly found success in replicating antiques and selling them to the Antique trade, and so in 1971 he founded The Limehouse Lamp Company. Peter retired in 2005 after building an excellent reputation in his industry over his 24 year career. Peter passed way in 2009 leaving his legacy that stands today.

Tina Covington

Tina Covington is the Limehouse Lamp Company's dedicated sales manager for US and Canadian markets. She began working at the Limehouse Lamp Company US as our Customer Service Representative in 2016. Tina's experience coordinating between production in the UK and customers in the US helps make the sales process for US and Canadian customers a seamless and easy experience. Based at our office in Orlando - Florida, Tina's favorite part of her job is helping designers and customers bring their design ideas to life. Tina has worked in customer service for over 20 years and with her dedicated experience with Limehouse products makes her highly proficient in dealing technical questions and providing first class service.

Valerie Gray

Valerie Gray joined The Limehouse Lamp Company in 2008, having previously spent four years in California, at the California Music Theatre as Subscriptions Manager. Upon Valerie's return, she joined a new and up and coming company who imported natural stone and sold it through their high-end showrooms. Gradually showrooms were open across the country and Valerie was promoted to Showroom Manager, responsible for each showrooms' sales, employing, managing and training the staff. Since Valerie's start with the Limehouse Lamp Company in 2008, she has been responsible for managing sales in all aspects of our customer and product base. Valerie's extensive product knowledge and commitment to customer service has proven invaluable to the growth and success of The Limehouse Lamp Company.
