Becks joined the team as a receptionist in 2021 with over 10 years' experience in a busy reception environment, however dentistry was a completely new chapter for her.
Dr Georgios Kallivretakis will be joining us from the 4th March.
Richard qualified in 2002 from Guys Hospital London and then in 2005 gained Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons.
Introducing our latest addition to the Abbey Mead dental team, Dr. Sanjay Sumaria, who joined us in February 2024.
Dr Sanjay Sumaria has been working in practice in Devon for the last 20 years since graduating from the University of Bristol. He recently, he achieved a postgraduate Masters degree in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Plymouth, furthering his expertise.
With a particular passion for cosmetic dentistry, Sanjay has a special interest in various aspects, notably cosmetic dentistry. This includes techniques such as composite white fillings and ceramics, focusing on treating tooth wear and handling complex rehabilitation cases. Moreover, he is proficient in digital dentistry techniques, integrating modern advancements into his practice.

Vivek is the new owner of the practice and also owns Larkham House Dental Practice in Plymouth, in which he is also based.
Emma started her dental career at University Dental Hospital London where in 1983 she qualified as a Dental Surgery Assistant. After working as a member of hospital staff for several years she trained and qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1988.

Flo joined Abbey Mead as a receptionist in February 2020 and has over twelve years of reception and admin experience in various industries.
Jenni started her dental career as a dental nurse studying at Guys Dental Hospital in 1987 and on qualifying, worked in the Maxillo-facial surgery department where she assisted many Royal Navy (RN) dental surgeons based in Central London.

Megan joined the team in July 2023 and enjoys making patients feel welcome in her surgery. Patients benefit from Megan's calm and warm manner.

Teresa has been a dental nurse since the age of sixteen and began working at Abbey mead in October 1999.
