Northcot is one of the very few brickworks that still takes clay from the same quarry used over the centuries. That clay is thousands of years old. When fired in our traditional coal-fired kilns it produces an intense base colour and results in an exciting range of naturally-coloured quality bricks with an enduring finish... We at Northcot are passionate about our skill and craftsmanship. Our genuine handmade bricks are produced by our Master Brickmakers using techniques perfected over the centuries. Our bricks lend warmth and individuality to a building. Warmth in terms of colour, comfort, and sustainability. Individuality in terms of colour, shapes and sizes... Northcot is one of the few brickyards to combine traditional coal-fired techniques with handmade brickmaking skills.
