I have been working in financial services for over 6 years. Abacus has given me the opportunity to professionally develop and enhance my understanding of financial services products. In my role of Office Manager, I ensure that Abacus Money Management runs smoothly. I have a varied workload raging from managing the admin team to setting out business continuity plans. It's a fast-paced role with a changing workload and I enjoy getting stuck in. My position here allows me to challenge myself and to be a part of a growing company.

Katy Flett

I am a fully qualified independent financial adviser, holding the diploma in regulated financial services. As well as being diploma qualified, I am also a Pension Transfer Specialist, meaning I can give advice if you have a defined benefit/final salary pension. I have been in the financial services industry for over 10 years, having worked in technical roles before becoming a financial adviser. My move to advising developed from my enjoyment of interacting with clients as my knowledge and experience grew and so it seemed a natural progression to combine my technical knowledge with directly helping advise clients.

I have been an adviser for over 20 years and love being able to provide financial solutions that meet my client's specific requirements. I am always striving for excellence in my vocation and attend many professional development days. I am a pension transfer specialist as well as an equity release and long-term care specialist which helps me to provide for the varying needs of my clients. I have a fantastic support team which allows me to be free to meet and enhance client relationships. Our paraplanners assist me with research and report writing and our administrators ensure all client requests are processed smoothly.
