The Cameron Lee Carpets business was originally established in Bristol in 1968 as a small flooring company. In 1969 the flooring business moved to the location as to where it became best known, firstly at number 4 Zetland Road Bristol, and later expanding into Number 6 Zetland Road. During the 1970's Mr Ernest Lever who had previously managed the Bristol branch of Perez Ltd in Park Street Bristol, joined the company as an associate establishing a fine Oriental rug department. Along the way a fabric department was set up at the same premises and the Cameron Lee business continued to enjoy great success in the high-class domestic carpets and flooring environment, along with a substantial commercial / contract flooring business...
