CR Civil Engineering began life as "4 lads in van". In the Spring of 2000, Carl Roberts decided to break away from the Primary Contractor where he was employed to set up his own Civil Engineering company with the ambition to deliver better results, more safely for less cost. He believed no-one should ever dread coming to work and that happy employees produce good quality workmanship and achieve high standards. The team quickly garnered a reputation of excellence and, unsurprisingly, work began to flood in. The company quickly expanded, gaining new clients and contracts, and more workers came aboard as the Company's status strengthened.
