Ben Balfour - Managing Director

Ben is the MD for Advanced Supply Chain and his career in the business has spanned over 25 years. Joining the Company as an operator in 1993 Ben quickly showed initiative in spearheading innovative operational efficiencies that developed significant benefits to our customers. Ben was identified through the Company's talent management processes and progressed his career through a number of roles to Operations Director. In 2016 Ben was appointed as Commercial Director. Since this appointment he has laid the Group's commercial foundations and framework, and jointly with the operations team he has delivered initiatives that include new sales, business development, marketing and branding successes. Ben's extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in all areas of the business are invaluable when it comes to creating innovative customer solutions.

Caroline Ellis - Chief Commercial Officer

In her role as commercial director, Caroline works with businesses to address the biggest challenges facing multichannel sales operations - namely minimising margin dilution, optimising stock inventory management and strengthening supply chain resilience.

Claire Webb

Job Titles:
  • Executive Chairperson, Re Use
Claire joined ASCG in October 2018, with a career spanning 22 years working in finance and the past 13 years within the retail sector. She joined from Go Outdoors where she held the position of CFO before becoming the company's managing director in 2017. Prior to this, Claire was CFO at Maplin Electronics. Claire is responsible for leading the business with a focus on driving sustainable growth alongside job creation and the enhancement of our services. The business benefits from her client-side retail background which saw her successfully deliver against growth and expansion plans in previous roles. Under her leadership, ASCG has set out a secure financial environment for the business to continue its global expansion over the coming years.

Keith Lawrence - COO

Keith joined ASCG in 2022 and brings with him two decades of supply chain and logistics experience, having spent most of those at Wincanton in a wide range of warehouse and operations management and leadership roles, supporting blue chip retailers' supply chains. Keith also spent time in the retail industry, supporting a fast-growing health & beauty brand and remodelling its supply chain for growth. At ASCG, Keith leads all warehouse and transport operations in the UK and EU, in addition to the Account Management and H&S teams. As a member of the Executive Leadership team Keith supports business' strategy and growth, providing bespoke technology-led supply chain solutions for its fast-growing omnichannel retail customers. His focus is providing unrivalled technology-enabled global support for leading retail brands seeking to manage their supply chain and environmental impact.

Linda Davison

Job Titles:
  • Customer Operations Director
Linda's career began as a supplier to the retail industry across factory production planning, merchandising, and warehousing and distribution. For 15 years, she was Supplier Manager for BHS and the Arcadia Group, and involved with all aspects of the supply chain. She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and understanding of the requirements and challenges of both supplier and retailer. Linda joined the Group in 2014 as Key Account Manager, however with her skills and understanding of distribution and customer expectations she soon became involved in the overall warehouse operations. Linda's approach, influence and determination have had a significant impact on both the team and operational improvements within our Corby site, delivering efficiencies and cost savings to the business whilst developing excellent working relationships with her customers by driving added value and benefits to them.

Lisa Rowlinson-Brown

A chartered fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Lisa is the People Director for Advanced Supply Chain Group with more than two decades of industry experience. Having built a strong track record within high-growth, private equity-backed businesses, Lisa's focus is on leading the transformation of culture for organisations and their people. Lisa is spearheading a wide range of innovations and initiatives that will support the business' ambition to be recognised as a Great Place to Work. Having joined the company in November 2021, Lisa has already implemented an ambitious people plan to drive high-performance culture, talent engagement and leadership development. She will work closely with the wider Reconomy Group to unlock the group's combined potential and support career opportunities and the employee value proposition across the business.

Louise MacGregor - CFO

Louise has over ten years' experience of finance leadership, predominantly in the retail sector. Prior to joining Advanced Supply Chain Group, Louise's previous roles have included Head of Finance at GO Outdoors, leading the finance integration of the outdoor brands into the JD Sports Group, and various senior finance manager roles at WM Morrison Supermarkets within the commercial and group teams. Louise is a member of the ICAEW and qualified with PwC. Louise is responsible for the finance function at Advanced Supply Chain Group, working closely with Claire Webb as they focus on the strategic future of the business. Louise will develop the necessary financial and commercial systems within the business to support its next phase of growth.

Scott Barry

Job Titles:
  • Business Unit Director
Scott joined Advanced Supply Chain Group in 2018 and has progressed upwards through senior transport and planning roles. Prior to this, he gleaned transport management experience working at Eddie Stobart and stock control experience in a busy wholesale environment. An important part of Scotts role as Business Unit Director is to find solutions for making supply chains better, faster, cheaper. This is the ‘Advanced Approach' and means a lot of his time is spent planning ways to build truly integrated supply chains for customers to seamlessly bring together several different sources of supply, routes, locations, trade partners and sales channels.

Steve Lovell - CIO

Job Titles:
  • IT Director
Career History: Steve has over 20 years' experience in IT Leadership roles across a number of sectors including mobile, customer communications and retail. He joined Advanced Supply Chain Group from Burberry following on from previous roles as CIO for Communisis and COO for Dialogue Communications.

Will Robinson

Job Titles:
  • Business Solutions Director
With a long background in software development and systems integration, Will Robinson implements tightly integrated and innovative solutions for customers that match the customer's needs perfectly. Passionate about systems being easy to use, fast and accurate Will has implemented wholesale changes in how supply chain operations are run, maximising efficiency and visibility. Will works alongside our customers, commercial teams, IT and operations to work from concept to delivery of supply chain changes. Previously, Will worked in the automotive industry integrating a large variety of different systems into one, easy to use point of sale application. Having access to information quickly and from one system is an approach Will has adopted at Advanced. Business requirements are constantly evolving and to stay ahead Advanced must be dynamic and experienced in a wide area of subjects. Will is tasked with ensuring systems are fully integrated, engineered for the future and adaptable in short timescales. Will ensures Advanced have a wide range of capabilities to ensure we can offer our customers true end to end logistics services utilising a wide range of tools and disciplines.
