EURO PERÚ CHAMBER

After a long process of negotiations between government authorities, the June 26, 2012 in Brussels (Belgium) at the headquarters of the Council of the European Union, was signed the Free Trade Agreement between Peru, Colombia and the European Union. As we know it is intended to contribute to wide open markets and generate new opportunities for trade and investment that will substantially increase exports and to strengthen relations between the EU and these countries. However, this Agreement is intended not only to expand the opening of markets, but also increase the stability and predictability of the environment and trade activities. It is based on respect for democratic principles, fundamental human rights and social responsibility which support sustainable economic development. Currently, there are negotiations of similar agreements with Bolivia and Ecuador to complete with all countries that are part of the Andean Group, which undoubtedly will provide benefits for both regions.....
