The Association for Economic Collaboration and Growth (ECG) is a national trade association organized under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code (Code). ECG works with the employer to identify workplace solutions and to promote competitive recruiting and retention policies. ECG advocates for workplace solutions and competitive compensation and perks for its corporate members that are entirely legal under the Code and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). The Code and ERISA are federal laws that permit these solutions and perks to the cannabis industry, irrespective of the cannabis being a controlled substance under other governing federal law.
