APPLEGATE VALLEY FIRE DISTRICT

The Applegate Valley Fire District proudly serves a population of approximately 10,000 people over a 181 square mile area. We are a combination department with 10 full-time, 1 part-time staff members and dedicated volunteers responding out of 7 stations across our district. Our district was founded on May 12, 1980. We respond to medical calls, structure fires, wildland fire, motor vehicle accidents, rope and water rescue calls, and public assists in addition to working closely with local schools and organizations to further fire prevention and public education efforts.
