Aizaz Shaikh is responsible for trading the firm's non-investment grade fixed income strategies, and is also a member of the Aristotle Credit research team. Aizaz previously managed high yield fundamental research and strategy at Goldman Sachs, London, within the firm's credit trading division. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Aizaz was the Director of High Yield Research at BNP Paribas, London, where he managed the firm's European sell-side research analyst team. During his tenure at BNP Paribas, Aizaz also served as a Senior Credit Analyst, covering Telecom, Media & Technology, achieved a #1 ranking by Institutional Investor in 2006, and was among the top 5 ranked High Yield analysts in Europe in previous years. Earlier in his career, Aizaz was an equity analyst at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, London. Most recently, Aizaz was a portfolio manager at TwinRock Capital, a credit hedge fund. Alberto Jimenez Crespo is a member of the Aristotle Capital research team and a veteran of the investment industry. Alberto earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mining Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and his Master of Science degree in Mineral Economics from Colorado School of Mines. Douglas (Doug) is the head of the firm's leveraged finance platform. In this capacity, he provides strategic oversight of high yield bond portfolio management activities as well as serving as senior portfolio manager for all leveraged loan portfolios. Having begun in the investment industry in 1989, Doug is a member of both the Executive Management Team and the Investment Committee responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of Aristotle Credit Partners and the investment process. Prior to joining Aristotle Credit, Doug was Senior Portfolio Manager - Global Credit at Bradford & Marzec, LLC. He was a member of the Investment Policy and Strategy Committee and Portfolio Management Team. Doug served as the lead Portfolio Manager for the firm's high yield portfolios starting in 1995. Prior to his position as Portfolio Manager, Doug was the firm's Director of Research and managed the credit analyst team, while continuing to serve as the primary analyst for a number of industries. Over the course of his career, Doug has held primary sector research responsibilities for a majority of the sectors of the corporate fixed income market including investment grade, high yield, mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities. During his master's program, he interned as an equity research analyst at Parnassus Investments and T. Rowe Price. Jake started his career in finance as an analyst at Morgan Stanley in New York and San Francisco in both the investment banking and growth equity investing divisions. Jake earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
