Barbara A. Johnson is executive vice president and chief operating officer for Premier Health, a role she has held since August 2019. Barbara has been with Premier Health since 2003.
Prior to her current role, Barbara served as system vice president and chief human resources officer for the health system. She previously served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for Miami Valley Hospital, and as vice president of operations at both Miami Valley Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital (closed in 2018).
Barbara is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Hospital Association, Ohio Hospital Association, National Association of Health Services Executives, the Society for Human Resources Management, and a member of the American Society for Health Care Human Resources Administration.
She is currently chair of the Ohio Diversity Council State Board of Directors and chair, The National Conference for Community and Justice of Greater Dayton (NCCJ). Craig Ganger is the chief financial officer for Premier Health, a position he assumed in January 2021. Craig joined Premier Health in 2004 and has advanced with increasing responsibility as director of patient financial services, director of managed care and decision support/managed care, and the chief financial officer for Premier Physician Network.
Craig received his master's in business administration from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Dayton. Diane Ewing is chief liaison to the president and CEO of Premier Health, and vice president of government affairs. Diane joined the organization in 2008 and has 30 years of experience in health care marketing, public relations, internal communications, and community relations.
Diane is a member of the Dayton Rotary Club and has served on numerous nonprofit boards. She serves on the boards of the Downtown Dayton Partnership; ThinkTV; Darke County Chamber Board; and the Coalition for a Healthy Darke County Board. She is a long-time member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development, serving on various national committees over the years.

Diane Pleiman, FACHE, MBA, is the president of Premier Physician Network. Diane has been a leader within Premier Health for more than 20 years. She has direct financial and operational responsibility for one of Southwest Ohio's largest networks of primary care and specialty medical practices, where more than 600 physicians and advanced practice providers care for patients in more than 125 locations.
Prior to this current position, Diane was the vice president and chief operating officer of Upper Valley Medical Center. She has extensive operational and strategic experience, having served as the system vice president for the neurosciences and oncology service line institutes, as well as vice president of operations at Miami Valley Hospital.
Diane received her Master of Business Administration from Wright State University. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on a variety of local boards.

Eloise Broner serves as the chief of shared services for Premier Health, a position she assumed in July 2018. With more than 25 years of health care leadership experience, she has held more than one leadership position at Premier Health. Prior to her current role, she was the president and CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital (closed in 2018) since May 2012. She previously served as chief operating officer at the hospital. She was the chief purchasing officer for the health system and for 17 years was the vice president of operations at Miami Valley Hospital.
Eloise received her bachelor's degree from Indiana University and her master's degree in public health from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Eloise has served on numerous community and county boards and is currently a member of the City-Wide Board and the Montgomery County Human Service Levy Council. She is a recipient of the DBJ Power 50 Award, has received Dayton's Top 10 Women and Dayton's Top 10 African-American Women awards, and was a finalist for the Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

Geoff Walker is chief legal officer for Premier Health. Geoff has practiced law for 32 years, 26 of which have been with Premier Health, beginning in 1992. Prior to his current position, Geoff served as counsel for Miami Valley Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital (closed in 2018), and later as counsel for Premier Physician Network and system service lines.
Geoff graduated from Cedarville University in 1982 and the University of Dayton School of Law in 1986. Prior to working with Premier Health, Geoff practiced as a litigator in one of Dayton's local law firms. He has served on numerous community boards over the years, including serving as president of the Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyers Project, and continues to serve local charitable agencies by providing free legal assistance to their boards.

Joann Ringer became the chief administrative officer at Premier Health in January 2021. Joann's health care career spans nearly three decades. She has been with the Premier Health system since 1998, where Joann has served in the roles of Miami Valley Hospital South's administrator, vice president, chief operating officer, and most recently, president.

Duane Martin joined Premier Health in 2004 as a staff attorney for Good Samaritan Hospital (closed in 2018). He went on to serve as assistant general counsel for Premier Health and then director of legal services for Upper Valley Medical Center. In 2012, Duane transitioned into the role of corporate compliance officer for Premier Health.

A results-driven leader with more than 25 years of experience in marketing and communications, product management, and development and strategic planning, Kathy currently serves as Premier Health's chief marketing and communications officer, a position that she has held since November 2018.
Immediately prior to this role, Kathy was vice president of operations at Good Samaritan North Health Center (now Miami Valley Hospital North) for two and a half years. She joined Good Samaritan Hospital in 2011 and has held various leadership roles within Premier Health, including director of marketing and communications for Good Samaritan Hospital and system director of service line marketing.
Before joining Premier Health, Kathy spent 17 years in leadership for Standard Register and Union Bank in the Los Angeles area, where she held positions of increasing responsibility, including vice president and senior product manager. She is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She currently serves as board chair for the Northmont Area Chamber of Commerce and participates on the Business Advisory Council for Northmont City Schools. Keith Bricking, MD, MBA, FAAEM, became the first physician to lead a Premier Health hospital with his appointment as president of Atrium Medical Center in January 2019.
In addition to his medical training and experience as an emergency medicine physician, Dr. Bricking has served in many leadership roles, including president of the Miami Valley Hospital medical staff and medical director of the Miami Valley Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine. He has an unwavering commitment to quality and compassionate care and values teamwork and collaboration.

Kevin Harlan became the president of Upper Valley Medical Center in August 2020. Kevin's health care career spans more than three decades. Lainie Dean is the chief strategy and business development officer for Premier Health. She re-joined the health system in 2019. In this role, Lainie's responsibilities include system strategy, joint ventures, partnerships and collaborations, real estate strategy, provider alignment strategies, service lines, value strategy, and strategic market development.
Lainie has more than 25 years of health care experience in hospital and medical group strategy, operations, financial management, strategic planning, physician recruitment, and physician practice development. Lainie began her career at Good Samaritan Hospital as an administrative resident.
Lainie serves as a Board of Director and Board Secretary for OneFifteen Recovery and at Chaminade Julienne High School as a Board Trustee. She is also an Advisory Board member to PQ Systems in Dayton and Aquabiliti in Nashville.

Marc Belcastro, DO, is the system chief medical officer at Premier Health. He is board-certified in pediatrics and neonatology and received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Belcastro became the system chief medical officer at Premier Health in 2020.
Dr. Belcastro most recently served as the chief medical officer of Premier Health's southern region, which consists of Miami Valley Hospital and Atrium Medical Center. He also served as Miami Valley Hospital's medical staff president from 2014 to 2016. Dr. Belcastro has been appointed to academic roles as an assistant and associate clinical professor at Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine and Ohio University's Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Belcastro is active in the community and a board member of Promise to Hope for Opiate Addicted Mothers, Steering Committee for Infant Mortality in Montgomery County, March of Dimes, and Remen Institute for the Study of Health and Illness. He also serves as a board member and medical director of Brigid's Path, a facility that provides treatment for opiate dependent infants.

Mary H. Boosalis served as president and CEO of Premier Health from 2007 to January 2022. Joining the health system in 1986, Mary has served in progressively expanded leadership roles throughout her career.
Mary has led many innovative initiatives during her career, resulting in systemic and positive changes to health care in the entire region. Some examples include developing the campus visional strategy and execution for Miami Valley Hospital South, which continues to expand today and has garnered the largest annual market share growth for Premier Health; completion of the new vision for Miami Valley Hospital main campus and construction of the Heart and Vascular Tower, earning many design awards for positive delivery of care to patients; working with the City of Dayton and other business partners to improve neighborhoods around Miami Valley Hospital's main campus; and serving as executive sponsor for the health system in developing and launching the Premier Health-Wright State University Neurosciences Research Institute, strengthening critical services to patients and attracting highly sought-after physicians in this field of medicine.

Michael Riordan joined Premier Health as president and CEO in January 2022. A seasoned and successful health care leader with extensive experience with community partnerships, Mike is the first external candidate to lead Premier Health since its formation in 1995.
Mike brings progressive hospital and health care experience, including nearly 20 years in CEO leadership positions for prominent health systems across the United States, including the University of Chicago Medical Center and Greenville Health System/Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina. Immediately prior to joining Premier Health, Mike served as an Independent Director with Owens & Minor, as well as on the global health care solutions company's Audit and Governance & Nominating Committees. In addition, he was tapped to be an adjunct senior advisor for McKinsey and Company's Healthcare Systems and Services Practice.
Through his experience, Riordan developed systems that positively impacted the teams with which he has worked. He also brings knowledge of creating and leading organizational vision and direction.
Riordan earned a bachelor's degree in liberal arts/English and a master's degree in education/psychology from Columbia University in New York, as well as a master's degree in health systems from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mike Uhl, MSN, MBA, RN, CEN, FACHE, is the president of Miami Valley Hospital. Mike is a registered nurse with more than 20 years of health care experience in both acute hospitals and health care system environments. Throughout his career, Mike has worked in and consulted with health care organizations across the country on strategic financial and operational enhancements to improve both clinical and financial outcomes. Mike's primary areas of expertise include innovative strategy development, hospital operational and financial improvements, process redesign, predictive modeling, and Lean Six Sigma applications in the health care setting.

Peggy Mark, Ph.D., is the chief nursing officer at Premier Health. Previously, Peggy served as chief learning officer for Premier Health, overseeing the organization's Learning Institute. Her responsibilities have spanned leadership development through clinical development, patient and family education, technical education, and library services. She has been very active in developing strong relationships with our many academic partners and represents Premier Health on various community boards.
Peggy began her nursing career at Good Samaritan Hospital (closed in 2018) and served in various nursing and leadership roles. Peggy received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Wright State University, her Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton and her Ph.D. in leadership and change from Antioch University. Peggy opened the Center for Nursing Excellence at Good Samaritan Hospital and was later promoted to the role of administrator of the former Good Samaritan North Health Center, now Miami Valley Hospital North.
Penny Drazer earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and her Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Stacey Lawson joined Premier Health in 1998 as manager of diversity and has held progressively responsible roles in her tenure with the health system. Her human resources experience includes previous leadership positions at Miami Valley Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital, and most recently served as a system vice president. Stacey is known for her abilities as an innovator in strategic thinking and achieving measurable outcomes.
