BASIDIOFACTORY

BasidioFactory was founded by Elsa Berends. She has finished a PhD study at Utrecht University on producing therapeutic proteins in basidiomycetes. That work has led to the foundation of BasidioFactory in November 2011... BasidioFactory produces enzymes from basidiomycetes (or mushroom-forming fungi) with applications in industrial biotech, food&feed and pharma. BasidioFactory develops products and production processes in collaboration with its customers, and thereby strives to further enhance its expertise and improve its technologies for production and purification of enzymes using basidiomycetes... BasidioFactory has become a member of the Industrial Platform of the Kluyver Centre for Genomics of Industrial Fermentations.
