BLOOD BANK OF ALASKA

Blood Bank of Alaska is classified as a 501 (c)(3) public charity and all contributions made to it by individuals and organizations are deductible under Code section 170... Today our collections have expanded to include fixed sites in Anchorage, Wasilla, Juneau and Fairbanks. Our mobile team works with community members across the state and hosts over 450 mobile blood drives a year. The blood donated by our volunteer blood donors supplies our partner hospitals to help Alaska patients in need... You can help as many as three patients with just one donation. The entire whole blood donation process takes about an hour and could possibly save a life.
