Alison grew up in Vancouver, BC. She attended the University of Victoria for her undergraduate studies and then obtained her law degree from the University of Leicester in the UK, where she graduated with honours.
Alison joined the Brain & Injury Law team in 2017. She is a highly compassionate individual who understands the stresses and frustrations one experiences after a serious incident, especially when injuries are invisible to the eye. She is committed to helping people through what could be one of the toughest times of their lives by responding to their unique needs and fighting for fair compensation.
When she is not in the office, Alison enjoys hiking, cooking, traveling and watching the Canucks.

Alysha Murphy is a senior paralegal and brings more than 15 years of experience to the firm. Alysha has spent the majority of her career working in personal injury and also has experience in the area of subrogation.
Alysha enjoys spending time with her friends and family and playing in the mountains with her partner. Rain or shine she enjoys being outside in the wilderness and exploring our beautiful province!
Anu K. Khanna is a lawyer serving clients in the lower mainland and all of British Columbia in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death. He received his law degree from the University of British Columbia in 1990, previously having earned a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of British Columbia in 1987.
Active in the legal community, Anu was a member of the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia from 2008 to 2015, previously having served on their Executive Committee from 1999 to 2007. He was a representative on the American Association for Justice and has also served on the executive of the Vancouver Bar Association. He has lectured for Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia and Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
With over 28 years experience as a trial lawyer, Anu has acted in a variety of civil litigation matters. Since 1993 he has focussed on representing clients who have suffered injuries and losses in automobile, motorcycle, truck and pedestrian accidents, as well as premises cases.
Anu was born in Winnipeg and raised in Vancouver. He is married with two adult daughters. His family is active in a variety of athletic pursuits. Additionally, Anu is active in the community; he most recently served as the Chair of St. John's School and had been on that Board of Governors since 2007. He previously served as President and on the Board of Governors of the Parkinson Society of British Columbia, and on the Board of Governors of Parkinson Society of Canada, amongst other volunteer pursuits.

Carrie grew up in Northern B.C. but has enjoyed living and working in the Greater Vancouver area for almost 27 years. Carrie has worked in the Vancouver legal community since 1993; beginning as a Legal Administrative Assistant and then completing the Capilano College Paralegal Program. She has had experience in several different legal environments and has extensive experience supporting counsel in all areas from discovery through to mediation and trial. Working in personal injury has allowed Carrie to support people through very difficult times. Carrie believes it is important for clients to understand that they can rely on her support and assistance when they need it most.
Carrie is involved in the file from start to finish, supporting clients to ensure their recovery goes as smoothly as possible, and ensuring that the litigation flows properly. She is proud of the team of conscientious and engaged staff that support each other. They work together with a goal of ensuring excellent client service and quality results.
Carrie is a member of the BC Paralegal Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of BC. She has been involved in the planning of Paralegal Conferences with the Trial Lawyers Association, which ensures the exchange of ideas and access to education in the Paralegal community.

Catherine was born and raised in Vancouver. She graduated with a dual degree in English Language and English Literature from the University of British Columbia.
Having an interest in the legal field, she began working at a boutique law firm before joining the team of Collette Parsons Corrin. Her favourite part about being in this field is her ability to make connections with our clients and ensure that they receive a fair outcome each time. Catherine enjoys coming into the office and working with her team to advocate for clients throughout the litigation process. She is motivated by the lawyers, paralegals, and peers within the firm as they encourage her development each day. She hopes to further her education in the legal field by obtaining her Paralegal Diploma.
Outside of work, Catherine enjoys volunteering for non-profit organizations, playing sports, and taste testing every pasta dish she can.

Although the path to recovery after an incident is often long and challenging, Chanel continuously sees the positive impact the team at Brain & Injury Law provides to the clients and their families.
As a senior paralegal, Chanel is involved in all parts of the litigation process, from first meeting a new client, to when the case is resolved at trial or through a negotiated settlement. Chanel co-ordinates the rehabilitation plan on the outset - this is often the most challenging part for clients before they retain a lawyer - and arranges appropriate treatment providers to be involved early on. She manages the progress of each case by keeping the litigation moving along; engaging with clients to ensure they understand each step of the way; and alongside the lawyers, setting up independent medical appointments to ultimately gather the necessary pieces to prove the case.
It is Chanel's firm belief that the most important part of their job is to advocate and help clients through the tough patches along the way; by taking the time to listen to clients and how the incident has affected their lives, in all aspects. Chanel recalls an incredibly strong and inspirational client once telling her: "My biggest challenge after the accident was to accept who I am now, rather than expecting myself to go back to the way I was before my injury. I need to learn about the ‘new me'."
Chanel wishes to remind traumatic brain injury survivors that they are not alone. There are many people and organizations with great experience and knowledge willing to help survivors and families after an incident.
Chanel has been assisting Daniel Corrin and the team at Brain & Injury Law since 2011. She also has a fashion business, a Creative Arts diploma and is fluent in English and Cantonese.

Charmaine was born and raised in Vancouver. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Sociology and a minor in Family Studies. She has a background in medical office administration and is new to the world of law. Charmaine enjoys her administrative duties and is very eager to learn as much as she can. Beyond her daily tasks, her role as an administrative assistant also allows her to build meaningful relationships with her clients. She is committed to meeting her clients' needs and having their concerns be heard.
Charmaine is currently studying Business Administration at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Outside of work, Charmaine likes to spend time with her friends and family, play tennis and pitch-n-putt, and try out new crafts.

Clare attended Simon Fraser University where she studied Criminology. Eventually, she decided to focus on obtaining her Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate and attended Vancouver Community College shortly thereafter. Clare previously worked at a small boutique law firm, before joining Collette Parsons Corrin LLP. She has a strong background in personal injury and wills and estates.
Clare is very passionate about meeting the needs of her clients and advocating for them. Her experience allows her to support each client's case as seamlessly as possible.
Outside of work, Clare enjoys walking her dog Gunner along White Rock beach and socializing with friends.
Daniel is one of the principal lawyers at Brain & Injury Law (Collette Parsons Corrin). He has 20 years of experience in brain injury litigation. He has helped clients with significant brain injuries and other catastrophic injuries. Daniel has extensive trial experience, including trials relating to "mild", "moderate" and "severe" traumatic brain injuries, as well as spinal cord injury, malpractice and "shaken baby syndrome". He has prosecuted and tried many motor vehicle cases, for a wide variety of injuries. Most have resulted in judgments in the multi-million dollar range.
Daniel is very involved in the brain injury community and the Trial Lawyers Association of BC (TLABC). He has been a TLABC board member for over 10 years. Within the brain injury community, he has taken on an advisory role for community brain injury associations, volunteered his legal services and assisted brain injury groups all over the province.
Daniel is active in the legal, medical and brain injury communities. He has organized and chaired many conferences to educate lawyers. He has co-chaired or spoken at BC's leading legal brain injury conference on multiple occasions. Daniel has chaired many legal conferences for the Trial Lawyers Association of BC. He has been invited to speak at the International Mental Health and the Law medical conferences in both Rome and Prague. He has spoken on the issues of brain injury, pain, competence, life expectancy and other legal issues in many forums. These include the Pacific Coast Brain Injury Conference, GF Strong Grand Rounds, Vancouver General Hospital (VGH), and for the BC Occupational Therapists, vocational planners and many others.
Daniel was an author for the Continuing Legal Education publication of the British Columbia Motor Vehicle Accident Claims practice manual and has written articles for the Lawyer's Weekly, Headline and other publications. He was a long-standing member on the board of Family Services of Greater Vancouver.
Daniel attended the University of British Columbia (UBC) for his undergraduate degree and the University of Victoria (UVic) for his LLB degree.
More important than his legal expertise, he is proud of his direct work with hundreds of injured individuals and their families going from the hospital to the courthouse and maintaining contact after the case is done. To prove the cases of those he has represented, Daniel has proudly spent thousands of hours listening to survivors, being in their homes, and doing his best to advocate for those who have suffered serious personal injuries. Being able to advocate and genuinely help people following serious injury has been the most rewarding and motivating parts of Daniel's career.

Elisabeth is an associate lawyer at Collette Parsons Corrin LLP - Brain & Injury Law - whose main areas of practice are plaintiff personal injury and medical malpractice. Prior to joining Brain & Injury Law, Elisabeth practised at a prominent midsize firm and a plaintiff-only injury firm, both in downtown Vancouver.
Elisabeth's familial background in medicine (a neurologist father and orthopaedic surgeon brother) and her own experience in surviving a car accident (and subsequent legal process) inspired her to become a lawyer. As a result of her experience, she is uniquely able to empathize and support her clients. In her role as counsel, Elisabeth has appeared as an advocate before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Elisabeth strongly believes in giving back to both her local and legal communities. She has served on a number of executives and boards including her current role with Parkinson Society British Columbia. This year (2022), Elisabeth is the first vice-president of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. Emily joined the Collette Parsons Corrin team in 2021 as a Personal Injury Paralegal. Emily started her journey in the legal field in 2018, where she began at a full-service boutique firm as a Legal Assistant. Emily then transitioned to a Personal Injury and Estates Paralegal at a mid-size firm in Vancouver, before joining our team.
Emily has a passion for helping others, which lead her to her love for Personal Injury. By assisting in recovery, Emily communicates directly with her clients and ensures proper support is being provided through the duration of the claim. She also assists clients with facilitating necessary treatments and obtaining the corresponding records to aid in settlement. Gregory's practice is focused on representing injured individuals in disputes involving insurance companies. Through his extensive experience as an advocate Gregory has developed a specialty in cases involving complex neurological injuries and represents clients before all levels of court in British Columbia.
Prior to making the decision to focus on representing individuals in disputes involving insurance companies Gregory was a partner at a large international law firm and prior to that he worked as in-house counsel in the Claims Legal Services Department of a large auto insurance corporation in British Columbia. He has acted as lead counsel in personal injury claims, construction disputes, product liability claims, intellectual property matters, employment matters, real-estate disputes, professional liability disputes, defamation claims, and claims against corporate officers and directors. Gregory also has extensive experience representing government agencies and road maintenance contractors.
Gregory is a skilled negotiator and has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, having represented clients in mediations, arbitrations and settlement conferences. He credits his success to his unwavering commitment to prompt, personable service and his attention to detail.
Gregory is very effective in establishing clients' particular needs and providing legal services that meet those needs in a timely manner. He applies creative problem-solving to all aspects of the litigation process, and has developed an approach to litigation that is results-oriented and focused on addressing the unique needs of each individual client.
On a personal level Gregory is an avid hockey player, snowboarder, mountain-biker, fisherman and outdoor enthusiast. He is actively involved in coaching youth soccer in North Vancouver.
Guy grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan, and started working in his father's painting business from an early age. At 18, he travelled extensively, including hitchhiking around most of Europe and into Asia. In 1974, he moved to Vancouver where he worked as a longshoreman and later as a bottle-maker at Dominion Glass. He subsequently attended BCIT and graduated as a registered psychiatric nurse in 1977. While working at Riverview, Valley View and then the Maples, he completed a degree in psychology at Simon Fraser University. He attended law school at the University of Victoria and was admitted to practise law in British Columbia in 1987. Guy married his wife, Ann, in 1978 and the couple have two adult children.
From the outset, Guy's law practice has focused exclusively on acting for injury victims. Guy frequently acts for clients whose cases present complicated medical and legal issues. He has achieved successful trial judgments and settlements on behalf of his clients in major personal injury and medical negligence cases. Guy has acted for accident victims who have suffered a range of injuries, including traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries.
In his medical negligence practice, Guy has successfully acted for clients who have sustained serious injury at the hands of medical practitioners and hospitals, including clients who have undergone unnecessary medical procedures, misdiagnoses including HIV, heart attack and cancer, obstetric and gynecological injuries and spinal cord injuries.
Guy has successfully argued a number of landmark cases that further the rights of victims. Guy fought and won a case at the British Columbia Court of Appeal that helps define an insurance company's duty to the people it insures. In a precedent-setting case, Guy represented 22 women who were sexually assaulted by a doctor. The British Columbia Supreme Court held that the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia could owe a duty of care to the patients of the doctors it regulates. It was the first case in the Common Law where a lawsuit was permitted to proceed against a regulatory body for the actions of the professionals it regulates. The case was confirmed by the British Columbia Court of Appeal and leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada was denied.

Jessica joined the team at Collette Parsons Corrin LLP in 2020 as a Legal Administrative Assistant. Besides her fantastic colleagues, she believes the best part of her job is that her work directly aids the clients involved. She is passionate about supporting her team to the best of her ability and contributing optimism and positivity to the work environment.
In addition to Legal Administration, Jessica also has a strong interest in Human Resources and is enrolled at the British Columbia Institute of Technology to further her education in that field.
In her spare time, Jessica is either on the road exploring beautiful BC, spending quality time with her family and pets or eating grilled cheese.
John is a senior trial lawyer who has devoted his 20-year career exclusively to representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters. His experience spans a range of complex litigation, including cases involving chronic pain, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, orthopedic injury, neurological injury and psychological disorders. John has achieved multiple seven figure trial judgments and settlements for his clients. He is a longstanding member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and American Association for Justice.
John was born and raised in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, with the exception of four boyhood years spent in the northern coastal town of Kitimat. Immediately after high school, John attended the University of British Columbia where he obtained both his undergraduate degree in 1997 and his law degree in 2000.
Following law school, John completed his articles with Gordon Hilliker, QC at the personal injury law firm of Garton & Harris in Port Coquitlam and was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2001. He later partnered with Bill Harris and Thomas Eaton Sprague to form the law firm of William J. Harris & Partners. In 2013, John went on to practice at another reputable Vancouver personal injury law firm before happily joining Guy Collette and his former law school classmate, Richard Parsons, in 2018.

Joyce feels very fortunate to be part of the Brain & Injury Law team. Joyce was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Richmond, BC. In her personal life, Joyce is passionate about her role in music and youth ministry. Julia attended Simon Fraser University where she studied criminology and legal studies. She has worked with personal injury claimants since 2017. Katrina joined the firm in 2016 after obtaining a Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate from Douglas College. She thrives on the fast-paced nature of plaintiff personal injury work and always makes the clients' needs her number one priority. She assists the legal team with anything they need and is always ready to meet a new challenge. Outside of the office, Katrina enjoys trying out new recipes, listening to podcasts and exploring the beautiful city of Vancouver.
Kelley grew up in Saskatoon, where she completed an undergraduate degree in Commerce, majoring in Finance. She moved to Calgary after finishing her degree and worked in finance and oil and gas for a few years before deciding that she would rather help people than work for large companies. She moved to Ottawa to attend law school at the University of Ottawa. During law school, she spent a summer travelling in Southeast Asia, another summer working at a large firm in Toronto, and finally achieved her goal of moving out to the west coast to Vancouver after finishing her law degree.
Kelley has only practiced law in the area of personal injury. She has been fortunate that her decision to go to law school led her to helping others through representing injured people. She has helped people who have suffered from all kinds of injuries, including soft tissue, orthopedic, chronic pain and brain injuries. She has represented people who are self-employed and lost income from their business, people who are no longer able to work and those who have needed extensive rehabilitation. She enjoys working hard to ensure those people are compensated for their losses.
When she's not at work, Kelley stays active by running, cycling, hiking and skiing. She loves seeing different parts of the world and tries to pack as much adventure as she can into her travels.

Kelsey was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. She obtained her Degree of Arts from Langara College in Psychology. Kelsey began her journey with Brain and Injury Law in 2016. As part of the administrative team, her passion to help others has grown immensely and she continues to gain more knowledge about law every day. She is proud to be a part of the Brain and Injury Law team. Each member exemplifies such dedication and detailed care to each and every client, which drives her to give her best at all times for her amazing team.
As an Administrative Assistant, Kelsey is responsible for obtaining crucial documents needed for each of the client's cases. Her time is spent communicating with defence, experts, and clients - scheduling meetings and reminding them of important appointments. She arranges any accommodations needed on behalf of each client during the litigation process, to ease and provide peace of mind during such stressful periods. Kendra was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Vancouver, BC. Laura joined Brain & Injury Law in 2015 as an Accounting & Administrative Assistant.
Her philosophy centers around what role she can play in helping others find solutions. Lori has been part of the team here for the past seven years. With over twenty years of experience in the legal field, between two law firms, the various roles she has had allows her to guide and mentor their junior staff and ensure that they have a positive work environment for everyone. Melissa obtained a Diploma in Legal Studies from Douglas College and then attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University for her Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate. Melissa began her work experience at a large firm, assisting in a mix of different areas, including immigration law. She then moved into a small personal injury practice where she has enjoyed learning the particulars of the practice. Melissa's key roles are to communicate with counsel regarding scheduling and facilitating the collection and distribution of documents. She assists with client contact and making sure the proper support is being provided for her team to do the proper job for the client. She appreciates the personal aspect of working in personal injury and enjoys being able to help people.

Mischa was born and raised in North Vancouver, where she still lives with her husband, Mitch, and their two sons, Aiden and Jack. She has been involved in the legal community since completing the Legal Assistant Program at Grant MacEwan University in 2002, followed by the Paralegal Program at Capilano University which she completed in 2010. At the beginning of her career, Mischa worked in labour and employment law and aboriginal law. For the past 14 years she has been assisting injured clients with their personal injury needs.

Reena started as the receptionist at Collette Parsons Corrin in August of 2020. She has many years of experience as a receptionist and is quick to make friends within the office. She looks forward to learning new and exciting things in her position with the firm.

Richard was the president of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia in 2014 and he presently serves as a member of the Board of Governors for the American Association for Justice (formerly the American Trial Lawyers Association). In 2015, Richard was invited to sit on the Editorial Advisory Board of the British Columbia Motor Vehicle Accident Practice Manual, which is often referred to as the bible for personal injury lawyers in British Columbia. He held this position until 2021. Rich has been selected annually by a survey of lawyers in British Columbia to be included in the publication "The Best Lawyers in Canada" for his work in the field of personal injury law.

Salima joined Collette Parsons Corrin in 2021 and currently works in the area of Plaintiff Personal Injury with a focus on trial work.
She is a senior paralegal with extensive knowledge that can manage all aspects of a personal injury claim. Salima recognizes the importance of working with clients to ensure they are supported in navigating all aspects of their claim.

Shawna joined the team at Collette Parsons Corrin LLP in 2021 as a Legal Administrative Assistant. Shawna completed her LAA practicum with the firm. She is very fond of her colleagues and the personal level of care that they provide to their clients. Shawna is passionate about learning all that she can about the legal field and is enrolled in the Paralegal program to Vancouver Community College so that she can expand her knowledge and contribute to the firm on a greater level.
Outside of the office, Shawna likes travelling and exploring local and international cuisines. She also enjoys spending time with her loved ones, going to concerts and watching movies.
