Amy J. Cross is a shareholder with Buckley Law's Business and Estate Planning practice group. She is a dynamic and collaborative attorney who provides in-depth experience in complex estate planning, probates, trust administration, and general business matters. She also has experience with special needs planning and protective proceedings, as well as beneficiary representation. Amy connects with clients to develop a long-standing relationship built on trust, open communication, and mutual respect. Understanding that each client has a unique family history, she works to craft estate plans that match client goals and plan for the future to safeguard family wealth and relationships. Amy enjoys attending concerts, taking West Coast road trips, and spending time with her family.

Arash Afshar is a shareholder in the Business Law practice group and focuses his practice on helping individuals and closely-held companies achieve their goals and protect their business interests. Arash advises clients in the areas of: corporate law, entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and tax law. He utilizies his MBA and tax LL.M. to advise clients on the practical effects of their decisions, while focusing on both short- and long-term sustainability. Prior to joining Buckley Law, Arash worked for Sherman, Sherman, Johnnie & Hoyt LLP in Salem. He has also worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Judith Matarazzo at the Multnomah County Circuit Court and as a law clerk at Mentor Graphics. In his spare time, Arash enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife Amanda, who is also an attorney, and his daughter Mila. They have a dog named Wallace (named after former Portland Trail Blazers player Rasheed Wallace). He is an avid sports fan (University of Oregon Ducks, Portland Trail Blazers, Portland Timbers, San Francisco 49ers) and is very active in multiple local sports leagues.

Gina Chiotti-Hovey - COO

Gina Chiotti-Hovey is Buckley Law's Chief Operating Officer, facilitating the strategic and executing the tactical. She is responsible for the business and financial operations of the Firm, including general operations, administration, accounting and finance, human resources, marketing, and technology. Gina joined the Firm in 2015. She has a B.S. in Business from Santa Clara University and is a Certified Management Accountant. Prior to her role at Buckley, Gina held COO, CFO, and other key positions in professional service, consumer product, and management consulting firms, serving both business clients and direct consumers.

Jaye W. Taylor - Shareholder

Jaye Wickham Taylor focuses her practice on family law litigation. She also has extensive experience in tax and financial planning, qualified plan design and administration, and insurance and securities portfolio design. Jaye's financial and pension background make her particularly well suited to assist clients in high-asset divorce litigation and post divorce estate planning. Jaye also understands the challenges business-owning clients face, having built, successfully operated, and then sold her own small business (a pension consulting and investment company) to a publicly traded and widely recognized financial conglomerate. Jaye Wickham Taylor has successfully litigated some of the most challenging and emotionally charged family law cases in the state, involving custody of children to fathers, severe parental alienation and abduction, allegations of domestic violence and international move-away cases. She has also litigated challenges to wills and trusts and elder financial abuse cases in increasing numbers. Jaye Wickham Taylor and her husband, Lon, have three sons; Mike is a graduate of Harvard University, Rand is a U of O grad and USC Law School Alum, and Nico, their youngest, is a serious foodie and indie-band guru. He is living and working in Portland. Jaye and Lon have been foster parents to seven children over the years. She is an avid cook & gardener.

Jillian Pollock is a shareholder in the firm's employment and business practice groups. Her practice includes representing employers in federal and state court proceedings and in administrative proceedings. Her practice also includes employment counseling. Jillian Pollock graduated summa cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law and was an associate editor for the Gonzaga Law Review. She was also a member of the William O. Douglas Lecture Series Committee, which brought nationally recognized experts on the First Amendment to Gonzaga to speak on freedoms of speech, religion, and assembly. Prior to joining Buckley Law, Jillian Pollock practiced labor and employment law in Washington state.

Joe Carlisle is a shareholder in the firm's litigation practice group and regularly represents clients in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate level. He has also appeared before a variety of administrative agencies and arbitration tribunals. Joe's practice is focused primarily on business disputes, although he also represents clients in real estate matters, employment litigation, healthcare matters, breach of contract and fraud claims, and anti-trust and RICO litigation. In addition to individuals and closely-held family businesses, Joe has represented local, regional, national and international businesses and associations. Joe's background exemplifies his commitment to his clients, having successfully defeated anti-trust, securities fraud, Stark law, Medicare fraud and Qui-Tam claims. Katrina Seipel

Katrina Seipel is an associate on the firm's Family Law practice group. She is part of Katelyn D. Skinner's family law team. Katrina represents clients in all types of family law cases. She joins a team well versed in complex family law matters including divorce, custody disputes, modification issues, international disputes, and restraining and protective orders. Prior to joining Buckley Law, Katrina worked as an attorney with Metropolitan Public Defender, a non-profit law firm that provides criminal defense services for indigent clients. While at the public defender's office, she tried more than 80 cases to a jury, earning great respect from the local bench. Katrina is a compassionate and meticulous attorney, as well as a fierce advocate for her clients. Katrina earned her J.D. from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has degrees in Psychology and Dietetics from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Outside of work, you will most likely find Katrina spending time with her husband and their 2-year-old daughter. Katrina and her family frequent the Oregon Coast. Katrina also enjoys reading, going for long walks, and DIYing her home.

Laura Mancuso is an associate in the firm's probate practice group. Laura is part of Katelyn D. Skinner's team. She practices a broad range of law in Probate, Probate Litigation, and Guardianships/Conservatorships. She has 20 years of trial experience, including family law and misdemeanor criminal defense, and is licensed to practice law in Oregon and Washington. Laura has a J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Oregon in Political Science and Psychology. She was previously at McKean Smith where her practice focused on family law and estate planning. She grew up in rural Oregon and joined the Air Force Reserve while still in high school. Years later, Laura became a commissioned officer. In 2003 she joined the JAG Corps. She retired from the Reserve in 2012. Laura has enjoyed volunteering with her children's schools, including high school mock trials, and watching their various sports activities. She enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Molly Becker is an associate on the firm's Probate and Litigation practice group. She is part of Katelyn D. Skinner's team. She practices a broad range of law in Probate, Probate Litigation, and Guardianships/Conservatorships. Molly also specializes in representing clients with Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) involvement, from the start of a Child Protective Services assessment to the Founded review process. Having Child Welfare involvement in your family's life is stressful enough, so it is critical to have representation by someone who understands their complex rules and procedures and has a proven track record of success. The review process for a Founded disposition is a time-sensitive and complex matter, so if you need assistance, please contact our office as soon as possible. Prior to joining Buckley Law, Molly worked for Oregon Department of Human Services in Child Protective Services investigating child abuse and neglect allegations for almost 8 years - it was during her time there she decided to go to law school. She also did an externship with the Portland City Attorney's office, worked as a Certified Law Student for the Multnomah County DA's office, and was a student intern with the Lewis and Clark Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. Molly has a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she was an Associate Editor on Environmental Law Review and was recipient of the awards Best Oral Advocate and Best Trial Team. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Portland State University. In her spare time, Molly can be found keeping up with her amazing children, as well as her Pug and rescue Chihuahua. She is a classically trained cellist, enjoys reading history and true crime books, and is an advocate for the protection of children and vulnerable adults.

Randall Duncan is a multi-state attorney with 35 years of experience navigating a range of legal matters for multi-disciplinary business clients. Richard Mario joined Buckley Law in 1989 and his practice includes business, estate planning, and real estate litigation. Richard is admitted to both the Arizona & Oregon State Bars. Richard's practice has a particular focus on representing companies in all aspects of real estate related disputes. Richard handles all cases from simple to complex litigation with the focus on the clients' needs. He employs all the tools, from mediation to litigation, to achieves his clients success. Richard has been the lead counsel on several multi-million dollar construction and development disputes and he engages in frequent land use, road right of way, and title dispute litigation. Richard Mario is also very experienced in the filing of construction liens and the collection of monies owed for improvements, as well as trust litigation involving parties and property in several states. Richard's successes include litigation over the sale of the Lincoln Center Office complex at Washington Square, a 600 acre residential development in Lincoln City, and a 500 acre mixed use development in Klamath County. Richard also co-founded the firm's Wine Law Practice Group and volunteers his expertise to the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. Richard has a wide range of knowledge of the particular challenges faced by buyers, sellers, and brokers in the residential real estate industry. He represents these clients before governmental agencies, in land use disputes, and real estate licensing. Rob Le Chevallier practices business law, business formation, estate planning, trust administration, real estate law, and corporate financing. Rob serves as corporate counsel for a variety of manufacturing and service companies. He has been described by the Oregonian as "the legal profession's equivalent of a midwife" to hundreds of businesses in the Portland area. Rob particularly focuses on the estate planning needs of business owners, who are often so preoccupied with their business that they neglect their own succession issues. Rob prepares estate plans for business owners and other high net-worth individuals and their families with an emphasis on succession planning.
