Abigail Brown

Abigail Brown received her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Hofstra University in Spring 2023. She has her B.A in Political Science and International Relations and a B.S. in Biology from Salisbury University. Abigail has a special interest in pediatric Traumatic Brain Injuries.

Erin Brady

Erin Brady is a graduate student pursuing her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Hofstra University. She received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Nonprofit Studies from North Carolina State University in December 2020. She then received her Postbaccalaureate in Communication Disorders from SUNY New Paltz in Spring 2023. Erin is passionate about helping others communicate and advocate for themselves. She has a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder, AAC, and working with nonverbal children.

Julie Case

Julie Case is the director of the Case Speech Production Lab. Dr. Case is an Assistant Professor in the Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences Department. Dr. Case holds a Ph.D. in Communicative Sciences and Disorders and an M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from New York University. She also has an M.A. in Spanish Language and Hispanic Literature and Cultures from Central Connecticut State and a B.A. in Spanish with a concentration in Elementary Education from Villanova University. Dr. Case is an ASHA certified bilingual speech language pathologist with specialization in children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). In her research program, Dr. Case studies speech motor development in children with CAS and other speech sound disorders. Her work has incorporated transcription, acoustic and kinematic analyses to examine changes in speech performance with intensive practice and the impact of stimulus complexity on speech production in children with typical and impaired speech development. Dr. Case is also interested in examining treatment efficacy for motor-based intervention in monolingual and bilingual children with CAS, in addition to systematically investigating language skills in children with CAS and other speech sound disorders.

Kelly Sullivan

Kelly Sullivan is a project manager for the Case Speech Production Lab and the treating clinician for the Caregiver Training Study. She received her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Hofstra University in Spring 2022 and completed her Clinical Fellowship working with preschool students at a pediatric outpatient clinic. Kelly is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with a special interest in speech sound disorders in children.

Lacie Berkowitz

Lacie Berkowitz received her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from Hofstra University in Spring 2023. She got her B.A. in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University. Lacie has a life passion of working with children and helping to improve their lives so they can live the most fulfilling life possible. Her clinical interests include working with children who possess various articulation, motor, and speech sound disorders as well as working in Early Intervention.

Lauren DiGregorio

Lauren received her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Hofstra University in Spring 2023. She has her B.A. in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from St. John's University. Lauren has a passion for helping others and has a specific interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Mia Kwok

Mia Kwok is an undergraduate student pursing her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Hearing Sciences with a double minor in Psychology and Disability Studies. Mia has a passion for working with school age children and Early Intervention. Her area of interest is Autism Spectrum Disorder and Aural Rehabilitation.

Millie Morgan

Millie Morgan (she/her) is a third-year undergraduate student at Hofstra University. She is majoring in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences with minors in Drama and Disability Studies. Millie is the current president of Hofstra University's National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSHLA) chapter.

Preeti Singh

Preeti Singh is a graduate student pursuing her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Hofstra University. She received her B.A. in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences from Hofstra University in the Spring of 2022 with double minors in linguistics and disability studies. Preeti is passionate about improving the lives of others and seeing the positive impact she can have on her future patients. Her clinical interests include working with children with various articulation and speech sound disorders as well as working in Early Intervention.

Sofia Gruppuso

Sofia Gruppuso is a graduate student pursuing her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Hofstra University. She received her B.A. in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences with a double minor in Psychology and Disability Studies from Hofstra University in the Spring of 2022. Sofia is passionate about helping others and bettering the lives of her future clients/patients. She has a special interest in Early Intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Down Syndrome. t
