Adrienne Jackson - Chairman

Adrienne Jackson was appointed to the Carlton Trail College Board in May 2018. Her pursuit of education has taken her to the University of Toronto, the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Alberta. She is currently studying Psychology at Queen's University and holds a Governor Development Certification from the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy. Adrienne is a chef, entrepreneur and operator of Living Skies Catering. She is also an active community volunteer, and has served in many roles such as Collective Kitchen coordinator, Kinette Club President and minor hockey coach. Adrienne and her family reside on Treaty 4 Territory and call Wynyard home.

Amy Yeager

Amy Yeager is Carlton Trail College's Vice President Administration. Since 2008, Amy has been the Director of Administration (now known as VP Administration) for the College. Amy has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan and is a Certified Human Resources Professional. Previous to joining the Carlton Trail College's Executive Team, Amy worked as a Human Resource Manager for the University of Saskatchewan Students' Union and Human Resource Officer for the Federated Coop. "The best part of working at Carlton Trail College is being able to watch our students grow and succeed. I can't think of a more rewarding place to work. I am most proud of our staff for all that they do for our students. Our staff always go above and beyond for our students; not because they have to, but because they want to."

Andy Burgess

Andy Burgess is Carlton Trail College's Vice President Finance. He started with the College in 2000 as Director of Finance, now known as VP Finance. As a Chartered Professional Accountant and formerly Certified Management Accountant, Andy brings a wealth of knowledge to his position. He is active in the community and has served three years on the Humboldt and District Chamber of Comerce Board, three years on the Humboldt Golf Club Board, and four years on the Partners Family Services Board.

Evan Doepker

  • President and Chief Executive Officer at Doepker Industries Ltd
Evan is President and Chief Executive Officer at Doepker Industries Ltd., a highway trailer manufacturing company headquartered in Annaheim, Saskatchewan. Evan is a third generation Doepker in the business and has been a part of the Doepker team since 1993. In his current position, he is responsible for leading the Executive Team in establishing long term strategies and an overall mission that guides and directs the entire organization. He has been an owner of Doepker since 2008, and joined the board of directors of the company in 2016. Evan has studied at the University of Saskatchewan and Athabasca University towards a degree in commerce and completed a variety of executive educational courses. In 2017, Evan was selected to participate in the Governor General's Canadian Leadership Conference. Evan serves on the Board of Directors of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce and chairs the Audit Committee. He is a director of the Canadian Transportation Equipment Association and has served as Vice President of that association's board of directors. He was appointed to the Carlton Trail College Board in May 2018. Evan and his wife Shawna reside near Annaheim and are proud parents of Brooklyn and Joshua.

Sandy Flory

Sandy Flory was appointed to the Carlton Trail College Board in August 2019. In her work as a Councillor for the R.M. of Wolverine and as Chair for the Saskatchewan Farm Safety Council, Sandy brings knowledge of rural issues, as well as solid understanding of governance procedures, to the Board of Directors. Her experiences include a mix of business and public sector activities, such as with Temple Gardens Mineral Spa, Humboldt Minor Hockey/East Central Minor Hockey League, LeRoy Leisureland Regional Park as well as through her family's own farming business. She also holds Municipal Leadership Development Program certification. Sandy and her husband Bruce reside near Humboldt with their two boys.

Shaun Haskey

Shaun Haskey was appointed to the Carlton Trail College Board in August 2019. Shaun holds a Bachelor of Commerce and her career path started with Coca-Cola Bottling (Saskatoon) where she developed her sales and marketing skills. She then pursued a successful career in pharmaceutical sales for Johnson & Johnson and managed product sales for Saskatchewan, before moving to Humboldt, starting a family and making a career change to become the regional, SaskSmart Literacy facilitator for Carlton Trail College. Shaun and family settled in Wadena in 2010 to pursue their entrepreneurial dream of self-employment and are now farming full-time. Shaun and her husband Chad have four children. Besides driving the kids to hockey games around the province, Shaun enjoys working out, new experiences, learning and gardening. Shaun is the Secretary/Treasurer of the School Community Council and a member of the Ladies Rink Auxiliary in Wadena. She is currently pursing her Governor Development Certification. "Education is a passion of mine. We must continue to grow and develop the talented people in our province for the future. Carlton Trail College is a vital part of this education system. I'm very excited to be part of the vision of this organization."

Shelley Romanyszyn-Cross - CEO, President

Shelley Romanyszyn-Cross is Carlton Trail College's President and CEO. In addition, Shelley is also the Senior Academic Officer for the College. Shelley brings a vast amount of education and experience to her positions. Her credentials include a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Public Administration and Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters of Adult Education from the University of Regina. Shelley joined the College in 2001 as Community Program Facilitator at the Davidson campus. In 2005, she moved to Watrous and became the Industry/Trades Coordinator. Since 2008, Shelley has been the Director of Programs/VP Academic for the College. Shelley was a councillor for the Town of Davidson from 1997 to 2006 which included actively serving on several of the council's sub-committees. Presently, Shelley is a member of the Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce and is involved in several working groups and committees that relate to different facets of the post-secondary system in Saskatchewan. "The transformational effect that education can have on an individual, and those around them, never ceases to fill me with joy. I am extremely honoured and humbled to have the opportunity to work with many hardworking and dedicated people whom are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students. How does it get any better than that?"

Sommer MacLeod

Sommer MacLeod was appointed to the Carlton Trail College Board in April 2014. She has a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Human Resource Management from the University of Saskatchewan. As well, she received her Governor Development Certification while serving on the board in 2015. Sommer brings to the board 12 years of managerial and human resources experience within the Saskatchewan Health Care System. She has worked with both the Heartland Health Region and the Saskatoon Health Region. Most recently, Sommer was the Manager/Site Leader at Wadena Hospital/Pleasant View Care Home. In February of 2017, Sommer made the decision to leave her manager position of five years to take a more active role in her and her husband's plumbing and heating business, CNS Mechanical Inc., located in Wadena. Sommer and her husband Curtis reside in Wadena with their two children. She is currently the Chairperson of the Wadena Elementary School Community Council and a Director of the Wadena School of Dance. Sommer enjoys being a mother, and running with her children to their various sports and activities. She enjoys travelling and reading, as well as volunteering her time to the various clubs and organizations that her children participate in.
