Annalise Mabe is a board-certified Physician Assistant. Annalise received her Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from Boise State University and her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Butler University.
Prior to attending her Master's program, Annalise worked with Boise State University and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare on multiple projects pertaining to the prevention of cancer and fall reduction in Idaho's aging population.
Annalise is passionate about medical dermatology and aesthetics. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, watercolor painting, riding snowmobiles, boating, and spending time with her family.
Ashlie Seals is a Nurse Practitioner with experience in dermatology, aesthetics, family medicine, and women's health. She started her Nurse Practitioner career in 2014 in California and served for six years in the Air Force. Ashlie has worked in aesthetics both as an RN and Nurse Practitioner for the past 9 years and is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Dermatology Nurses Association.

Brenna Petro was raised in north central Idaho and has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for the past 14 years. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Oregon Health and Science University and her Master's degree from the University of Arizona and is certified nationally by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Brenna specializes in general dermatology, skin cancer screening, and the treatment of benign and malignant lesions. Brenna is an excellent communicator and strives to create a personal relationship with each patient she cares for; one built on trust, understanding, and advocacy. It is her goal to help patients understand their condition and treatment plan in a respectful and comfortable environment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two school-aged children as well as cooking, hiking, and running.

Dr. Heather Layher is a board-certified Dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. She received her undergraduate education at Boise State University graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Upon entering medical school at Touro University in Nevada, she was commissioned as an officer in the US Army. After graduating medical school with Sigma Sigma Phi Honors, her first military assignment was at Madigan Army Medical Center where she fulfilled her internship year. She then completed Dermatology residency training through San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium.
Following residency, she became the Chief of Dermatology at West Point and served in this role for four years. During this time, she also completed a Master of Business Administration degree from Boise State University. From 2020 to 2021, she completed fellowship training in micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology (Mohs surgery) at Texas Tech University.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and an associate member candidate of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS). Layher is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery.
She was raised in Idaho and is excited to return. She enjoys spending time with her husband and dog. She looks forward to caring for the northern Idaho community.
Dr. Khorsand is an American Board Certified Dermatologist, raised in the Northwest and now happily settled in Post Falls with her husband and two young children. She graduated cum laude from the University of Washington with a bachelor of science in Bioengineering.
She went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Washington, finishing with honors and election into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor society. She also completed her dermatology training at the University of Washington, serving as chief resident.
While she loves treating patients of all ages, Dr. Khorsand is excited to share her expertise and passion for pediatric dermatology. When not in the clinic, she enjoys baking, exploring parks with her children, and volunteering with the special needs community.

Dr. Craig was a true genius, a legend at his work, and treated others wholeheartedly. Our thoughts go out to his wife and four children. Dustin Larsen is the newest dermatologist to join the team at North Idaho Dermatology. Originally from northern Utah, he graduated from Utah State University magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in Public Health. He completed his medical training with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University and recently completed a dermatology residency at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. He loves the field of dermatology and enjoys seeing patients of all ages.
Dr. Larsen and his wife, Melissa have four rambunctious young children and love spending time together. His favorite hobbies are hiking, camping, astronomy, and reading. He hopes to learn how to fly fish very soon.

Richard A. Flygare, PA-C, Ph.D, joined the professional staff of North Idaho Dermatology in September 2000 and has been practicing since 1996.
Richard received his bachelor degree in health sciences from Brigham Young University, and his Masters degree in clinical medicine from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his doctorate in health sciences at Touro University International in September, 2008, and is a diplomate of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
He provided full-time dermatology care at Fairchild AFB while serving with Stephen Craig, M.D., our chief of staff. Richard enjoys spending time with his family, writing, and working on media projects.
