Dr. Robert Jofer

Dr. Robert Jofer has been a lawyer for almost 30 years and works exclusively in the field of criminal law. In the early years of his career he represented a wide range of clients (up to and including homicide) and thus became well versed in procedural law. His focus as a certified specialist for criminal law (since 1997) has shifted in the past 10-15 years to the representation of companies and their directors and officers as well as to white collar and tax criminal law. He also frequently acts as defense counsel in cases involving accidents or allegations based on supplementary penal provisions outside the Criminal Code. For example, he recently defended the CEO of a credit institution against the allegation of a property offense, the managing director of a security firm against the allegation of social security fraud and a building contractor in the so-called Ingolstadt corruption scandal. He advises European food manufacturers on various criminal law issues and is currently representing the executive of an international corporation on charges of multiple negligent homicide. Dr. Robert Jofer is a lecturer at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, where he also completed his doctorate on "Criminal Prosecution on the Internet" under Prof. Schöch.

Dr. Stefanie Lajtkep

Dr. Stefanie Lajtkep completed both her law studies at the Ludwig Maximilian University and her legal clerkship in Munich. She has been working together with Dr. Robert Jofer since 2009. Before founding CCI-LEGAL, she was also a partner in the law firm Jofer Lajtkep & Kollegen. Among others, Dr. Stefanie Lajtkep represented a senior employee of a large milk processing company due to a death in production, the managing director of an airport company due to moonlighting as well as the CEO of a bank in an extensive embezzlement trial. Furthermore, she led the internal investigation of a shipping company for alleged customs violations, among other matters. She is currently representing a civil servant in connection with the drug scandal at the Munich police department as well as the executive of an internationally active corporation for alleged involvement in a serious dam accident in South America. Since 2016, Dr. Stefanie Lajtkep has held the title of "Specialist Lawyer for Criminal Law" and completed her doctorate in general criminal law in 2017. In addition to her work as a criminal defense attorney and in the field of compliance and internal investigations in companies, Dr. Stefanie Lajtkep teaches as a lecturer in the healthcare sector and is an adjunct lecturer at Ludwig Maximilian University.

Dr. Sylvia Klass-Jofer

After completing her law studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Dr. Sylvia Klass-Jofer has been a lawyer since 1996, specializing in criminal law. After obtaining her specialist title in criminal law in 1998, she was initially a partner in the law firm Klüver, Klass, Zimpel und Kollegen. In 2002, she received her doctorate from the Chair of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law and Criminology under Prof. Dr. Samson and was subsequently a partner in the criminal law boutique Jofer, Lajtkep & Kollegen, focusing on advising individuals primarily in general criminal law.

Karl-Jörg Xylander

Karl-Jörg Xylander has many years of experience in advising and representing companies and their decision-makers in all areas of white collar crime and regulatory offences. He also advises on corporate compliance issues, including in relation to business partners, and conducts transaction-related compliance due diligences with a focus on money laundering, corruption, sanctions and embargo risks. Internal investigations, which Karl-Jörg Xylander either advises on or conducts on behalf of the company, are often related to cross-border investigations by governmental authorities or whistleblowing by employees. The spectrum ranges from suspicions of corruption to allegations of bullying. Karl-Jörg Xylander's clients include large and medium-sized, often internationally active companies and their decision-makers. He is regularly recommended as a lawyer for white-collar crime, compliance and internal investigations. Before joining CCI-LEGAL, Karl-Jörg Xylander headed the German white collar practice of an international law firm and worked as a public prosecutor in the white-collar crime department of the Munich Public Prosecutor's Office (I).

Moritz Hausmann

Moritz Hausmann is active as a lawyer in all areas of criminal law, with the focus of his work being on commercial and fiscal criminal matters. In addition to defending individuals, his areas of practice include advising companies and executives, compliance and internal investigations. Before joining CCI-LEGAL, he was a partner in a renowned Munich criminal law firm for several years. Prior to that, he worked for a private equity company based in Munich and for an international law firm in Cape Town (South Africa). He is a member of the Wirtschaftsstrafrechtliche Vereinigung e. V., the German Bar Association - Criminal Law Working Group and the Bavarian Criminal Defense Lawyers' Initiative. In addition to his work as a lawyer, he lectures in the field of medical and nursing criminal law for medical personnel for further training purposes.

Teresa Karrer

Teresa Karrer already focused on "Criminal Justice, Criminal Defense and Prevention" during her studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, where she dealt in depth with white collar criminal law and current criminal procedural problems. She deepened her passion for criminal law during her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich, during which she gained a wide range of practical experience. During this time, she worked for a Munich law firm specializing in criminal defense as well as for the Munich Public Prosecutor's Office II.
