NGLC

　　　The National Geological Library of China （NGLC）, also known as the Geosciences Documentation Center of China Geological Survey（CGS）, is a non-profit entity affiliated with CGS. The primary missions of NGLC involve the collection, processing and development of geosciences literature, carrying out related research and constructing the information system to provide geosciences literature and information services to the public. Currently, NGLC holds a collection of 710,000 volumes of books and documents published in China and overseas, over 10000 geological graphic documents from various countries in the world, and more than 20 large-scale bibliographic databases, covering the recent 200 years from the initiative period of modern geology to present day. It has established partnerships with nearly 400 geological institutions in more than 60 countries and regions for literature exchange and interlending.
