Alan Davis, M.D., is Board Certified in General Surgery and a Diplomate of The American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has had the honor of serving that organization as a Governor from the State of Maryland. Dr. Davis attended the University of Maryland Medical School. He did a surgical internship at the University Pennsylvania and his residency and fellowship at the University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the former Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Northwest Hospital. Dr. Davis is also the Director of the Wound Care Center and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at Northwest Hospital. He is wound care certified by The National Alliance of Wound Care. Dr. Davis was also instrumental in developing the Breast Care Center at Northwest Hospital. Dr. Davis' expertise includes General Surgery, including the latest laparoscopic techniques in treatment of diseases of the stomach (fundoplication), small bowel, gallbladder, and colon. In addition, he has extensive experience in hernia repair, including open, laparoscopic, and advanced techniques. He also performs colonoscopy. Dr. Davis has also worked closely with his colleagues in the development of single incision laparoscopic surgery at Northwest Hospital. He is on the Minimally Invasive Surgery Facility at Northwest Hospital and is actively involved in teaching fellows. Dr. Davis also maintains a very strong interest in diseases of the breast, and treatment of both benign and malignant conditions.

Donna Goldscheider has an expertise in the scheduling of surgery and has worked in the medical field for over 29 years. She enjoys working with Dr. Davis, as well as with the friendly and caring people in their office. Donna takes pleasure in meeting new patients and assisting ones she has helped previously. She aims to relieve any anxiety and pressure that may come with a forthcoming surgical procedure. When she's not at work Donna enjoys yoga, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Kandyce Hopkins is a graduate of The Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and also attended Morgan State University. She takes pride in making sure the front office runs professionally and efficiently, while maintaining a cheerful and friendly atmosphere. As the first face seen, she strives to establish a good rapport that will set the tone for each patient's experience with the practice. She believes that patient care includes making each patient feel welcomed and comfortable. As hobbies, she enjoys music, managing a local DJ and hair care as a trained cosmetologist.

Lesa Schrum has a passion for General Surgery and has been working with General Surgeons associated with Northwest Hospital for 37 years. In addition to Practice Administrator, Lesa is also a National Certified Medical Assistant and enjoys the clinical just as much as the administrative side. She takes personal satisfaction in patient care and wants to make a difference. Lesa is very honored to be working with Dr. Davis and is proud of the team and quality care that they provide to each patient. Lesa spends most of her free time with her son and enjoys playing the piano.
