D-Shape was founded to realise the creative legacy of two Italian engineering legends - helicopter and Vespa inventor Corradino D'Ascanio and Piaggio engineer Egisto Dini. Since 1993, Dini's sons Enrico and Riccardo have offered divergent solutions to process and product challenges across industries including automotive, aerospace, textiles, and more... In 2004, after seeing office-scale 3D printers, the Dini brothers had a vision to scale up the technology for architectural construction. D-Shape was born from the idea of revolutionising building through 3D printing automation.
