Dr. Gary L. Craig joined Arthritis Northwest in 2005 following 24 years of private and university practice in Spokane and Toronto. Dr. Craig is also an assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University of Washington and a past clinical associate professor and director of the Rheumatology Training Program at McMaster University. He is a member of many professional associations including the American College of Rheumatology, American Society of Clinical Rheumatology, Northwest Rheumatism Association and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Craig earned his M.D. at McMaster University where he also completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He is actively involved in clinical research and has authored or co-authored many articles on arthritis and its related conditions.

Dr. Howard M. Kenney is an Arthritis Northwest founding partner who has held numerous leadership positions with Inland Northwest medical and arthritis related organizations. He holds an undergraduate degree in zoology from the University of Utah where he also earned his M.D. Dr. Kenney completed multiple training and residency fellowships through UCLA at the Kern Medical Center program in Bakersfield, Calif. Dr. Kenney is an associate clinical professor of medicine at the University of Washington and has won multiple academic awards during his career. He is affiliated with Sacred Heart Medical Center and Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane. He has been licensed to practice medicine in Washington since 1983.

Karen Ferguson, M.S. is a proven healthcare executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of leadership within the healthcare industry. Ms. Ferguson is currently the Practice Administrator at Arthritis Northwest, PLLC, and co-founder/CEO of T3JointMan, Inc. (a healthcare company designed to harness data analysis that will improve patient care across the board). To that end, she is co-inventor of U.S. Patent no. 8,458,610, entitled "Medical Information Generation and Recordation Methods and Apparatus" directed toward the JointMan® care portal. She founded and acts as Executive Director for the Nidus Physician Network Care Organization, an online organization created to help Rheumatology practices achieve sustainability. Ms. Ferguson is a past President of the Washington State Medical Group Management Association and the Inland Empire Medical Group Managers Association. She is currently a member of the Genentech Practice Administrator Speaker Bureau, as well as the UCB Practice Administrator Speaker Bureau. Ms. Ferguson received her Master of Science in Health Administration from Whitworth College, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from San Diego State University.

Sergio Schwartzman, MD, is the Franchellie M. Cadwell Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Cornell Weill Medical College, and Associate Attending Physician at the New York Presbyterian Hospital and at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Dr. Schwartzman earned his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Hillside Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. His fellowship was conducted in the Department of Rheumatic Diseases at the New York Hospital and the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Schwartzman has authored or coauthored over 50 articles, abstracts, books, and book chapters concerning rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, autoimmune ophthalmic disease, and related topics. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the Spondyloarthritis Research and Treatment Network, the American Uveitis Society and the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA). Dr. Schwartzman is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the Fellows Award presented by the Northeast Regional American Rheumatism Association and The Franchellie M. Cadwell Chair. He has served as an Ad Hoc Journal Reviewer for: Arthritis & Rheumatism, Emerging Infectious Diseases, Journal of Rheumatology, The Musculoskeletal Journal of Hospital for Special Surgery, Seminars in Arthritis and Rheumatism, Arthritis Research & Therapy, Medscape Rheumatology Editorial Advisory, Board Arthritis Care and Research, WebMD Rheumatology editorial board Up to Date. Additionally, he was a member of the following ACR committees: 2010 ACR Abstract Selection Committee Spondylarthropathies and Psoriatic Arthritis2012 ACR Abstract Selection Committee Rheumatoid Arthritis. He has lectured frequently at the ACR Meet the Professor Sessions on difficult to treat RA, and autoimmune ophthalmic diseases. His current research interests include the development and implementation of an institutionally based objective outcome research registry for the inflammatory arthritides (Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis) and defining and treating autoimmune diseases of the eye, including uveitis, vasculitis, scleritis, and autoimmune orbital inflammatory disease. He is also involved in therapeutic studies defining the role of new agents in the treatment of all autoimmune diseases.
