Andrew was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2014 after graduating from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Prior to law school, Andrew earned his bachelor degrees in Political Science from the University of California; Irvine.
Prior to joining SFLG, Andrew worked at several other well regarded firms where he practiced family and employment law. He has extensive trial experience and is at home in the Court room. Andrew practices in all areas of Family Law and often handles the most complex and sensitive matters.

Anita is a Provisionally Licensed Attorney through the State Bar of California. She earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Laws (LL.M) in Taxation from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco. Prior to law school, Anita earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Writing from the University of California - Merced.
During law school, Anita worked at SFLG as a law clerk and prior to law school, as a paralegal; and gained invaluable training in complex family law matters.
Anita is dedicated to helping clients navigate the difficult process of all aspects of their family law matters; and combines compassion and diligence in her approach to family law matters. Her strength lies in her result-focused yet sensitive approach to family law advocacy.

Brianna was raised in the East Bay and attended Diablo Valley College. She is a California Notary and has extensive experience working in family law. She loves to help families in transition by providing comprehensive and outstanding support to our attorneys and clients.
Outside of the office she enjoys staying active, weekend getaways, going to the dog park with her French Bulldog puppy, trying new restaurants and spending time with friends and family.
Brock was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2012 and has spent most of his professional career practicing family law. He represents clients in all family law matters, including dissolution of marriages and domestic partnerships, parentage issues, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal and partner support, division of community property, separate property issues, premarital and post-marital agreements, and domestic violence. He has substantial experience with dissolutions involving high-conflict custody disputes and multimillion-dollar marital estates with complex property issues.
Before joining SFLG, Brock worked at well-known family law firms in Los Angeles County and at the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Washington. He also volunteered at Bet Tzedek in Los Angeles, where he participated in the Transgender Name and Gender Marker Clinic. He graduated from Loyola Law School in 2012, where he received a First Honors Award in the Sexual Orientation and the Law Seminar. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi in 2008, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi.
Brock currently resides in Seattle but is a native of Mississippi and has lived in Atlanta and Los Angeles. He is a self-proclaimed nature addict and is often hiking, backpacking, camping, kayaking, and/or paddle boarding on the weekends. When he is not outside, you might catch him reading science fiction, watching horror movies, listening to Dolly Parton, or singing too loudly at an indie rock concert.
Ms. Angell has experience working on local, multi-state and international dissolution and custody matters.
Christina was admitted to the State Bar of California more than 22 years ago and is also a Certified Family Law Specialist by the State of California Board of Legal Specialization. Ms. Angell has established a professional reputation for "thinking outside of the box" and a dedication to her clients.Ms. Angell has represented adults and children in multiple jurisdictions in the Bay Area, including San Francisco, Marin, San Mateo, Alameda, Contra Costa and Santa Clara counties. Ms. Angell has experience working on local, multi-state and international dissolution and custody matters. Ms. Angell handles cases that range from high-conflict custody matters to complex financial issues and complicated marital estates.
Ms. Angell also has exceptional experience working as a court appointed counsel in high conflict custody matters; working as a neutral in such matters has given her unique insight into the issues and solutions related to such matters. Her keen negotiating skills and forethought towards resolution in such matters has frequently resulted in win-win solutions for parents and their children.
Outside of her activities in the law, she is the proud co- parent of two adult children, and successfully navigated her own divorce; positively co-parenting her two children, including managing the challenging issues related to the "special needs" of one of her children. Crystal attended the University of San Francisco, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in International Business. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law, where she received a Specialization Certificate in Family Law.
Prior to joining the Schoenberg Family Law Group in 2015, she worked at the Unified Family Court in San Francisco. She also gained experience at several Bay Area family law firms and at the Executive Office of the Alameda County Superior Court.

Eric has been practicing family law for over twenty years and has a broad range of litigation experience.
He graduated from University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1989. While there, he was an editor of the COMMENT Law Journal and helped tenants in San Francisco with landlord-tenant issues at the San Francisco Housing Clinic. Before attending law school, Eric graduated from Pitzer College of the Claremont Colleges and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
Prior to joining the Schoenberg Family Law Group, P.C., Eric worked for a plaintiff's civil law firm in Oakland where he managed and litigated a wide range of civil cases ranging in subject from personal injury to complex contracts and class actions. It was during this time that Eric was able to use his broad range of litigation experience to head the firm's family law department where he was able to practice his true passion in law, representing men and women in family law disputes.
In 2001, Eric partnered with another law firm in San Francisco where he was able to specialize in family law. Eric's family law experience is extensive, ranging from simple support matters to the most complex custody and property division cases. His court room experience is likewise extensive, spanning short cause support hearings to first chairing multiple day trials. Eric understands how difficult and stressful family law issues can be to his clients. Jesse is a Bay Area native who joined the firm in the spring of 2020. He attended Canada College for Business and Paralegal Studies. Jessie is also a California Notory Public and a process service agent.
Prior to joining the team at SFLG, he worked for a boutique law firm specializing in both family and criminal defense law. Jesse has a strong passion for helping clients in their biggest time of need.
In his spare time, Jesse likes to hike, camp, and fish. He also has a passion for restoring muscle cars and riding his motorcycle through the Bay Area backroads.
Jo Trego has more than 20 years' experience working as a Family law paralegal. She has worked on a wide array of cases and has extensive experience in all aspects of family law. Outside of the office Jo enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren and living near the ocean.
Joanna C. Funke was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2014, after graduating from The George Washington University Law School with Honors. Ms. Funke earned her Bachelor of Arts in History with High Honors at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
While in law school, Ms. Funke participated in the Domestic Violence Project and Family Justice Litigation clinics, providing pro bono services to victims of domestic violence. She was awarded the National Association of Women Outstanding Law Graduate Award as well as the President's Volunteer Service Award.
After law school, Ms. Funke served as a Law Fellow for a nonprofit domestic violence organization in Washington, D.C. and then as a Law Clerk for two Child Abuse and Neglect judges at the D.C. Superior Court. While clerking, she gained valuable insight into the fact-finder's position and continued to work in highly confidential, emotional, and complex matters. Since moving back to the west coast, Ms. Funke has worked exclusively in family law as an associate attorney in small to mid-sized law firms in the Bay Area. Prior to entering the legal field, Ms. Funke worked in the contracts and financing departments of a government contractor and leasing company.
Ms. Funke's diverse family law experience enables her to handle all aspects of family law matters, including dissolution, child custody and visitation, including high conflict matters, child and spousal support, domestic violence, complex, high-asset matters, and post-judgment matters. She is a member of the State Bar of California, as well as the San Mateo County Bar Association and Santa Clara County Bar Association. Ms. Funke currently serves on the Board of the San Mateo County Bar Association Women Lawyers' Section as well as the Family Violence Appellate Project's New Leadership Council, Northern California Chapter. She was selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer's Rising Star in 2019 and 2020.
Ms. Funke enjoys cooking, singing with the Menlo Park Chorus, and exploring the Bay Area through food and hiking with her fiancé and their dog.
Matthew was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2016 and he has practiced family law exclusively since that time. Matthew represents clients in matters involving dissolution, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, premarital and marital agreements, domestic violence, and property division among other marital and domestic issues. Prior to joining SFLG, Matthew worked at other highly regarded family law firms in San Francisco and Alameda Counties, and he continues to serve a broad array of clients throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
Matthew graduated from UCLA School of Law and UCLA Anderson School of Management with a JD/MBA in 2015. While in law school, Matthew participated in UCLA Law's Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic, wherein he worked as a volunteer civil dispute mediator in Los Angeles Superior Court. Matthew was also the recipient of the Outstanding Brief award as part of UCLA Law's Moot Court competition.
A Bay Area native, Matthew has a deep love for the region and its local sports teams. Matthew and his wife just welcomed their first child into the world, and Matthew is anxiously awaiting the day he can take his son to his first Giants game.
Miho is a zealous advocate for her clients providing attentive and strategic representation during a difficult stage in their lives. In addition to being an attorney, she is "mom" to her school aged son.
Ms. Lawlor brings her nearly 15 years' experience as a litigation attorney to the Schoenberg Family Law Group, P.C..
She graduated from the Golden Gate School of Law in 1998, where she focused on litigation "with honors." Ms. Lawlor thereafter clerked with the San Francisco Federal Public Defenders' Office for a year, prior to practicing civil litigation in a small firm for five years, where she specialized in small business litigation, landlord-tenant law, and probate litigation. She always had a strong desire to practice family law and, during her tenure at the civil litigation firm, Ms. Lawlor began taking on family law cases. Her passion for family law ignited, Ms. Lawlor and a partner founded a law firm in Oakland, California in 2007, at which she limited her practice to family law matters. In addition to being well-versed in the drafting of family law pleadings, motions, and agreements, Ms. Lawlor has experience with appellate argument, mediation, short and long cause family law hearings, and trials. In one most recent case, Ms. Lawlor succeeded in winning an award of Attorney's fees for her client in the amount of $425,000.
Ms. Lawlor grew up in New York teaching sailing on the Great South Bay. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Philosophy with honors from Wheaton College, a women's college in New England. She is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco and Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom (BALIF). In her spare time she and her partner care for their active toddler, as well as teaching self-defense as a second degree black belt in a rare Indonesian art, Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen.

Ryan Strong was born in Chicago, Illinois, and was raised and educated on the East Coast. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst in 2002. He returned to Chicago for law school and graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2007. He relocated to the beautiful Bay Area and has dedicated his career to Family Law.
Ryan Strong is a no-nonsense attorney. He is calculating, quick-witted, and a problem solver by nature. Being both analytical and creative allows him to envision logical and imaginative solutions to the challenges that a family law case often involves.
He is a member of the San Francisco, Alameda County, and Contra Costa County Bar Associations and a practicing California attorney since 2008. He practices solely family law and has trial experience in San Mateo, Solano, Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, Marin, Mendocino, Ventura, San Joaquin, Humboldt, and Nevada counties.
In his precious spare time, Ryan enjoys hiking in the Redwoods with his family, which includes two spirited children, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rosie Starshine, and a long-haired German Shepherd pup, Fluffy Rabble. He enjoys clearing his head by taking long motorcycle rides and watching Formula 1 racing. He is also on a never-ending quest to find the perfect burrito, a passion enthusiastically shared by his wife and partner of 18 years.
Stacie has worked exclusively in Family Law since 2007. She obtained her Associates Degree in 1997 and her paralegal certificate in 2006. In addition to working for several boutique family law firms during her career, she also worked for the Superior Court Family Law Facilitator's Office where she gained valuable experience and legal knowledge working with judicial officers and the public. Stacie has dedicated her career to providing clients with extraordinary service- always going the extra mile to ensure they have the best experience and legal representation possible. In her free time, Stacie likes to travel, be outdoors, and spend time with her family and friends.
Tammy was raised in the Bay Area and has over 15 years of family law experience. She brings with her extensive knowledge of complex family law matters from discovery to trial preparation.

Prior to joining Schoenberg Family Law Group, Traci practiced family law in Silicon Valley and the greater Bay Area with top law firms in the area. Earlier in her career Traci was a business litigator specializing in business disputes and employment law.
In her spare time, Traci volunteers at her local animal shelter to help house homeless animals, enjoys triathlon training and engaging in continuing education.
