Doric Lenses was founded in January of 1995 with the mission to market patented gradient-index cylindrical lenses for collimation of laser diodes... Back in 2007, the company started to make simple photonics devices for optogenetics under the "Doric" brand. As optical methods in neuroscience gained popularity the need for more sophisticated photonics hardware became evident. By responding to those needs promptly with quality instruments, the company became the leader in the field of neurophotonics hardware. Doric Lenses produces specialty light sources, fiber photometry systems, miniature fluorescence microscopes and much more.
